The hygger LED Aquarium Light is a 15W full-spectrum aquarium lamp designed to support freshwater plants and a natural day-to-night lighting rhythm, with adjustable brackets for 12 to 18-inch tanks (30 to 45 cm).

• Automated sunrise, daylight and nighttime lighting — creates a gradual daily light cycle for freshwater aquariums.
• 5050/2835 LEDs with 6500K white, 665nm red and 460nm blue wavelengths — provides full-spectrum lighting for aquatic plants.
• Day-L and Moon-L modes with timers and adjustable color settings — lets you tailor scheduled lighting and nighttime viewing.
• Extendable mounting brackets for 12 to 18-inch tanks (30 to 45 cm) — fits many rimmed and rimless glass or acrylic aquariums.
• Aluminum alloy housing, IPX4 splash resistance and power-off memory — supports heat dissipation and retains settings after an outage.

Freshwater tanks need lighting that supports plant growth while giving fish a consistent day-and-night rhythm. This hygger lamp brings those functions together in a 15W light, with automated transitions for a scheduled cycle and separate color and brightness options for viewing. Its adjustable mounting brackets are designed for a range of tank styles, while the timer settings help you choose a lighting duration that suits your aquarium routine.

How does the hygger aquarium light cycle through the day?

The Day-L mode runs an automated daylight cycle, with a 15-minute gradual transition between lighting changes. It moves from warm orange sunrise light to bright full-spectrum midday light, then to starry blue nighttime light. The gradual changes are designed to avoid sudden shifts that may startle fish, and the light cycle is intended to help reduce fish stress while supporting vibrant plant growth.

Day-L includes programmable timer options, while the Moon-L mode is set up for nighttime viewing. For a different appearance, Color Cycling offers a selection of colors and brightness levels.

• Day-L timer choices: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 hours.
• Color Cycling: 10 colors and five brightness levels, from 10% to 100%.
• Moon-L: custom color selection with 4, 6, 8 or 12-hour timer options.

What lighting does it provide for aquarium plants?

The hygger light uses 5050 and 2835 LEDs with 6500K white, 665nm red and 460nm blue wavelengths. This combination provides full-spectrum illumination designed to support photosynthesis in freshwater plants. Its color rendering index is greater than 92, and the lighting is also intended to help maintain vibrant-looking plants and healthier fish.

The different light settings allow you to choose between scheduled daylight, color cycling and a custom-colored moonlight setting. Select the mode and timer according to the viewing and lighting schedule you want for your tank.

• 15W power for aquarium lighting.
• CRI greater than 92 for color rendering.
• White, red and blue LED wavelengths for full-spectrum output.

Which aquariums can the adjustable brackets fit?

The extendable brackets are made for tanks 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm) long and work with most rimmed or rimless glass and acrylic aquariums. They attach without tools and hold the lamp in position while leaving access for routine aquarium maintenance. Measure the tank length against the bracket range when choosing a fit.

The thin aluminum alloy housing helps dissipate heat and has an IPX4 splash-proof rating. It is splash-resistant rather than a submersible light, so position it above the aquarium. The lamp supports 100 to 240V input, and its power-off memory retains settings after an interruption.

• Aluminum alloy housing with a stated lifespan of 20,000+ hours.
• Tool-free mounting brackets for convenient installation and maintenance access.
• IPX4 splash resistance and 100 to 240V voltage support.

This light is suited to freshwater aquarium owners who want scheduled full-spectrum lighting, plant-supporting wavelengths and adjustable settings for daytime and nighttime viewing. It fits tanks within the 12 to 18-inch bracket range and combines automated lighting modes with a splash-resistant aluminum housing.
