hygger Aquarium UV Clarifier Light, 5W for 37.9–151 L Tanks with Timer

The hygger Aquarium U-V Light is a 5W in-line aquarium lamp designed to help clear green water in 10–40 gallon (about 38–151 L) freshwater and saltwater tanks using 254 nm U-V-C light.

• 254 nm U-V-C wavelength — designed to clean green water as aquarium water circulates through the lamp.
• For 10–40 gallon aquariums — a 5W unit for tanks within this capacity range.
• Four timer choices with setting memory — select an automatic operating cycle to suit your routine.
• Enclosed, shielded housing — the casing prevents U-V light from escaping during use.
• Hose-connected installation — works with a filter or water-pump setup rather than sitting loose in the aquarium.

Cloudy green water can make it harder to see into an aquarium. This lamp is made to treat circulating water in freshwater or saltwater setups, connecting into the hose route used with a filter or pump. It is intended for water circulation, not direct placement in the tank.

What is the hygger Aquarium U-V Light designed to do?

Its 254 nm U-V-C light is designed to clean green water and help cloudy green aquarium water become clearer as water passes through the unit. The lamp is suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums in the stated tank range.

• 5W output for 10–40 gallon tanks.
• Closed plastic ring and tight housing shield the U-V light from escaping.

How does the lamp connect to an aquarium?

Connect the lamp to hoses in a circulating-water setup with an external canister filter, sump pump system, bottom filter, or water pump. Water flow through the connected system is central to how the lamp is used; do not place it directly in the aquarium.

• It can be positioned inside or outside the aquarium as part of the hose-connected setup.
• Three pairs of connector fittings accommodate 13 mm, 16 mm, and 19 mm hoses.
• Two stainless steel clamps are included for the connection.

Which timer settings can I choose?

Choose a 3, 6, 12, or 24-hour setting with the power switch. The lamp automatically manages the on/off cycle and remembers the selected setting.

• For daily maintenance, the recommended use is 3 hours per day.
• During a green algae outbreak, 24-hour operation may be used continuously for 3 to 7 days.
• Long-term continuous 24-hour operation shortens bulb lifespan.

What comes with the hygger Aquarium U-V Light?

The package includes one U-V light, two stainless steel clamps, three pairs of connector fittings, and one user manual. The fittings are supplied in 13 mm, 16 mm, and 19 mm sizes for hose connections.

• Use the lamp connected to a hose and filter or water-pump system.
• The unit is not designed to be placed directly in the aquarium.

This hygger lamp suits aquarium keepers with a 10–40 gallon freshwater or saltwater tank who want a hose-connected approach to cleaning green water. Its timer options, remembered settings, and included hose fittings support integration into a circulating-water setup. It is intended for filter or pump circulation, not direct placement in the tank.
