After surgery or an injury, pets may need a barrier that helps stop them from reaching a wound. This soft cone is made for that recovery period while allowing pets to see around them without the collar obstructing their vision. Its cushioned design is intended to let pets drink, sleep, and play as usual while wearing it.

How does the IDOMIK collar help protect a healing wound?

The IDOMIK dog recovery collar forms a soft barrier around the pet’s neck and head to help prevent biting, scratching, or licking an incision or wound. It is an alternative to the rigid plastic Elizabethan collar, with flexible fabric and a padded feel. The collar is also designed to cushion the head and neck during rest.

• The soft design makes no noise when worn.
• The collar is made for use after surgery or when a pet has a wound.

How do you choose a size and adjust the fit?

The IDOMIK recovery collar comes in six sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL. Adjust it to your pet’s head and neck, and keep the fit loose enough to avoid discomfort. The number of circle rings varies by size.

• S, M, and L have two circle rings; XL and 2XL have three; 3XL has four.
• Place the strap behind your pet’s neck to help keep it out of reach of biting.
• To help prevent loosening, tie a knot in the rope near its buckle.

What is the collar made of, and how do you clean it?

The IDOMIK collar uses flexible fabric with microfiber cotton filling. The lightweight fabric is water-resistant, does not stick to pet hair, and is designed not to fade. If water lands on the outside, droplets can be wiped or shaken off the fabric surface.

• The fluffy filling provides a soft, cushioned resting surface.
• Surface water droplets can be removed from the outer fabric.

This recovery collar suits pet owners looking for a soft, adjustable barrier for a dog or cat after surgery or during wound recovery. The product is offered for different breeds of dogs and cats, with six size choices and adjustable fitting. It is intended to help limit access to wounds while keeping the pet’s vision unobstructed, rather than serving as a rigid plastic cone.
