IJVAE Hard-Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover, Brown, Waterproof Hammock with Removable Blankets

IJVAE’s hard-bottom dog car seat cover creates an extended rear-seat resting area for dogs, measuring up to 53 in (134.6 cm) wide by 24.8 in (63 cm) deep, with a reinforced base tested to support up to 500 lb (227 kg).

• Two interchangeable, removable, washable blankets — keep a fresh, soft surface available for your dog.
• Eight-layer construction with Oxford fabric, PU coating and TPU — helps shield the back seat from moisture, dirt, fur and scratches.
• Waterproof cover and non-slip rubber backing — help keep the cover in place and make cleanup easier.
• Ventilated mesh window, interaction zippers and two storage pockets — let your dog see you and keep small pet essentials within reach.
• Foldable design — leaves room for a passenger or child car seat when needed.

Dogs can bring muddy paws, loose fur and scratches into a vehicle, while a regular soft hammock may not provide a firm resting surface across the rear seats. This IJVAE cover is designed to extend the resting area and protect the rear-seat surface, seatback, door panels and footwell. Its brown finish is made for use in cars and SUVs, and the foldable base offers flexibility when the back seat also needs to accommodate a passenger or child car seat.

How much room does the hard-bottom cover provide?

The extended cover reaches up to 53 in (134.6 cm) wide and 24.8 in (63 cm) deep across the rear seating area. Its 3.7 lb (1.7 kg) reinforced bottom board creates a hard base instead of a soft-only hammock surface. The base has been tested to support up to 500 lb (227 kg), making the extended resting area suitable for large dogs or multiple dogs. It is designed to provide more support than standard soft models and most hard-base alternatives.

• The board folds to make room for a passenger or child car seat when needed.
• Compare the stated width and depth with your vehicle’s rear-seat area when choosing a fit.

What does the cover protect, and how is it cleaned?

The cover is made to shield the seat surface, seatback, door panels and footwell from scratches, dirt, fur and muddy paws. Its eight-layer construction includes high-density 4×4 Oxford fabric, a waterproof PU coating and an additional TPU layer. The construction provides double-layer water resistance, and the cover is described as having no odor. The full cover is 100% waterproof, so wipe it down for quick cleaning or remove a blanket for washing.

• The rubber backing is designed to resist slipping during turns and sudden stops.
• Both included blankets are removable and washable, so either can be taken off for cleaning.

What features make trips more comfortable and organized?

A ventilated mesh window gives your dog a view of you while allowing airflow through the cover; the window may also help ease anxiety. Zippers let you interact with your dog through the cover. Reinforced wide straps anchor the cover, while two roomy storage pockets hold leashes, toys or treats. Together, these details provide a defined place for your dog and a spot to keep common pet items organized in the vehicle.

• Two interchangeable blankets provide a choice of clean resting surfaces.
• The mesh window supports visibility between the dog and the people in the vehicle.

IJVAE’s hard-bottom car seat cover is suited to dog owners who want an extended rear-seat resting area, a firm base for a large dog or multiple dogs, and washable blankets for day-to-day use. It also suits trips when protecting more than just the seat surface matters, with coverage extending to the seatback, door panels and footwell. Its foldable board makes space for a passenger or child car seat when required. The combination of a tested hard base, removable washable blankets and broad rear-seat coverage makes it a practical fit for dogs travelling in cars or SUVs.
