IOKHEIRA Adjustable Dog Car Seat Belt with Reflective Bungee and Aluminum Carabiner

The IOKHEIRA dog car seat belt helps restrain a dog during car travel, with two types of vehicle buckle and an adjustable length of 19.6–31.5 inches (49.8–80 cm).

• Aviation aluminum carabiner with a maximum tensile force of 900 lb (4,003 N) — connects to a dog harness D-ring.
• Curved carabiner shape — helps it engage with the D-ring.
• Reflective threads in thick, wear-resistant nylon — make the belt easier to see at night.
• Elastic bungee section — cushions movement during braking, sharp turns, and bumps.

Dogs can shift around in a vehicle, so this seat belt is made to help keep them secured while allowing some movement. Its adjustable length gives a dog room to sit, stand, or lie down, while the bungee section is designed to cushion sudden movement on the road. IOKHEIRA recommends using the belt with a dog harness.

How does the IOKHEIRA dog seat belt attach in a car?

It has two different vehicle attachment options: a hook latch and a buckle that fits into a seatbelt slot. The hook latch can attach to a child safety seat or the car trunk; the seatbelt buckle inserts like a typical human seatbelt buckle. The two connection styles are designed to make the belt usable across cars.

• Choose the hook latch for a compatible child safety seat or trunk attachment point.
• Use the buckle end in a vehicle seatbelt slot.

How much room does the adjustable belt give a dog?

The belt adjusts from 19.6 to 31.5 inches (49.8 to 80 cm) using sliding metal hardware. Adjusting its length lets a dog sit, stand, or lie down while connected. The elastic bungee section adds cushioning when the vehicle brakes, turns sharply, or goes over bumps.

• Sliding metal hardware changes the belt length.
• Reflective threads help make the nylon belt easier to see at night.

What are the carabiner and belt made from?

The carabiner is aviation aluminum and has a curved profile designed to make locking onto a D-ring easier. Its maximum tensile force is 900 lb (4,003 N). The belt is made from thick, wear-resistant nylon, with reflective threads woven into it.

• Connect the carabiner to a dog harness D-ring.
• Pair the belt with a dog harness, as IOKHEIRA recommends.

This IOKHEIRA seat belt suits dog owners who want adjustable restraint for car journeys, a choice of two vehicle buckle styles, and cushioning for movement on the road. It is intended to be used with a dog harness, and its adjustable length accommodates sitting, standing, or lying down while connected.
