Joypig Soft Mesh Cat Recovery Cone, Waterproof Foldable Collar for Post-Surgery Care

Joypig’s soft cat recovery cone is a foldable mesh collar with a waterproof fabric layer, designed to limit licking, biting and scratching while allowing cats to eat, drink and play.

• Cone-shaped design — creates a barrier between your cat and wounds.
• Soft, foldable mesh — gives the collar a flexible construction for recovery wear.
• Waterproof fabric layer — helps keep your cat’s neck dry while drinking.
• Lightweight build with soft padding — offers an alternative to a plastic Elizabethan collar.
• Made for recovery and care routines — suits post-surgery, injury, skin-condition, grooming and bathing situations.

Cats recovering from surgery or an injury may need a barrier that helps keep them from reaching an affected area. Joypig’s cone-shaped collar is made for this purpose, as well as for use when a skin condition calls for protection or during grooming and bathing sessions. Its soft, foldable construction is intended to make the collar less cumbersome than a rigid plastic cone while keeping the recovery purpose clear.

How does Joypig’s cone help protect a wound?

The cone shape is designed to prevent cats from licking, biting or scratching wounds. Unlike a donut-style collar, its shape forms a barrier around the head and neck area, making it suitable for post-surgery recovery, injuries and skin conditions. It can also be used during grooming or bathing sessions when you need to limit access to an area.

• Made for wound protection during recovery.
• Suitable for skin conditions and injuries.
• Can be used during grooming and bathing sessions.

Can a cat eat, drink and play while wearing it?

Joypig’s soft, foldable mesh collar is designed to let cats eat, drink and play while wearing it. A layer of soft waterproof fabric over the mesh helps prevent drinking water from wetting the cat’s neck. This construction combines a flexible mesh body with added coverage where water may otherwise reach the neck during drinking.

• Designed to allow everyday eating and drinking.
• Play is possible while the collar is worn.
• The waterproof layer addresses neck wetness while drinking.

What makes it different from a plastic Elizabethan collar?

Joypig uses soft mesh, a soft padded layer and a lightweight, foldable design instead of a rigid plastic construction. The padded layer and lightweight build are intended to make recovery wear more comfortable and reduce anxiety during recovery. The cone shape still serves as a barrier against reaching wounds, so the softer construction does not change its stated recovery purpose.

• Soft mesh rather than rigid plastic.
• Foldable construction with a soft padded layer.
• Designed as a softer alternative to a plastic Elizabethan collar.

Joypig’s recovery cone suits cat owners seeking a flexible barrier for post-surgery care, injuries or skin conditions, and for grooming or bathing routines. It is designed to limit access to wounds while supporting eating, drinking and play, rather than serving as a decorative collar.
