When a dog has difficulty keeping balance or moving independently, getting around the home, using stairs or getting into a car can become more challenging. This full-body lifting harness is made to assist with those movements and can also be used during grooming and nail trimming. Its compressive fit is intended to help relieve anxiety, while the harness provides a way to support a dog during handling.

What kinds of dogs and activities is this lifting harness designed for?

Jranter’s harness is designed for elderly, injured, arthritic and rheumatic dogs that need help with walking and other everyday movement. Use it to assist a dog with walking, going up or down stairs, or getting in and out of a car when balance or mobility is affected. It can also be worn during grooming or nail trimming.

• Provides assistance during movement when a dog has reduced balance or mobility.
• Can be used as a hammock for support during handling.

How does the harness support a dog while lifting?

The harness distributes pressure across support points at the chest and abdomen to help avoid concentrated pulling or tugging. Belly foam cushions the chest, and rounded sponge padding around the legs is designed to reduce rubbing at the hips and pulling on the legs. These features support a more comfortable lift without choking or slipping.

• The inner mesh is breathable and designed for durable use.
• The outer Oxford fabric is hard-wearing and waterproof.

How do you adjust and use the Jranter harness?

Adjust the waistband and strap length to accommodate different dog heights, then use the harness in the configuration suited to the task. Its options include wearing it over the shoulder, using it as an adjustable leash, or supporting the dog in a hammock-style position.

• Reinforcement at every seam supports the harness during use.
• The snug-fitting, compressive design can also be worn as an anxiety vest.

This harness is suited to caregivers who need hands-on support for a dog with reduced mobility, or a versatile option for grooming and handling. Its adjustable straps, distributed chest and abdomen support, and multiple wearing configurations make it a practical fit for assisted movement and care.
