Kaytee Exact Baby Bird Hand Feeding Formula, 5 lb, High-Nutrient with Probiotics

Kaytee Exact Hand Feeding Baby Bird Food is a 5-pound hand-feeding formula for baby birds, designed to support growth, weaning and development with a high-nutrient recipe containing probiotics.

• 5-pound bag — supplies hand-feeding formula for baby birds.
• High-nutrient formula — promotes growth, weaning, development and bright plumage.
• Probiotics — encourage a healthy population of intestinal microorganisms.
• Made for babies needing an increased-energy diet — includes Macaws, Eclectus, Hawk-Headed Parrots, African Parrots, Caiques and babies under 2 weeks old.
• Helps reduce stomach upset — made for weaning and transition to Kaytee Exact adult food.

Hand-feeding calls for food formulated around the needs of baby birds, including those with higher energy requirements. Kaytee Exact is designed for that early feeding and developmental stage, and can also support the move to Kaytee Exact adult food during weaning. It is not recommended for Cockatoos, giving Cockatoo caregivers a clear species-specific consideration when choosing a formula.

What is Kaytee Exact Hand Feeding Formula designed to support?

The formula promotes growth, weaning, development and bright plumage. Its high-nutrient composition is intended for baby birds, while probiotics encourage a healthy population of intestinal microorganisms. When used properly, Kaytee Exact also supports a healthy crop.

Kaytee says the formula helps reduce stomach upset when babies are weaned and transitioned to Kaytee Exact adult food. Its selected probiotic species were chosen for vitality, stability and overall benefits to a bird’s system.

• Designed for hand-feeding baby birds.

Why do breeders and bird-care programs use Kaytee Exact?

Kaytee Exact was among the first instant hand-feeding formulas and is used by professional breeders, veterinarians and conservation programs around the world. Kaytee has more than 150 years of experience in avian nutrition, and the brand is veterinarian-recommended.

For caregivers, these details place the formula within an established hand-feeding product line rather than a general bird food. Its purpose remains specific: provide high-nutrient nourishment for baby birds, with probiotics and support for the developmental and weaning stages.

• Part of Kaytee’s avian nutrition range.
• Made by a veterinarian-recommended brand.

Kaytee Exact is suited to caregivers hand-feeding baby birds, especially the named species and young birds needing an increased-energy diet.
