KEMIMOTO Foldable Dog Bike Basket, 7.7 kg Rear-Rack Pet Carrier with Mesh Cover

The KEMIMOTO dog rear bike basket carries small pets on bike rides in a foldable metal-frame carrier measuring 14.37 × 9.84 × 14.17 in (36.5 × 25 × 36 cm).

• Supports pets up to 17 lb (7.7 kg) — gives small-pet owners a clear weight limit when choosing a carrier.
• Breathable mesh top and light grey interior — promote airflow and reflect heat rather than absorbing it like black fabric.
• Removable foam pad — adds a soft layer and can be taken out for hand washing.
• Zipper closure and built-in safety leash — help keep a pet inside and attach the leash to a harness.
• Foldable metal frame and included mounting hardware — fit most standard rear racks without extra tools.

This carrier is made for taking a small pet along on bike rides while providing an enclosed space on the rear rack. The mesh cover, padded base and leash address airflow, contact with bumps and sudden jumping; keeping the pet calm also matters for ride balance.

Which pets is the KEMIMOTO basket sized for?

It is designed for small pets, including small dogs, small cats and other small animals. Dog examples include Chihuahua, Toy Poodle, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese and young Miniature Pinscher; cat examples include Teacup Cat, Singapore Cat and Devon Rex. Compare your pet’s size with the basket dimensions above, and keep the stated weight limit in mind.

• Suitable examples include the named small breeds and cats.
• For safer rides, pets should stay calm and avoid sudden anxious movements that could affect balance.

How does the carrier support comfort and containment?

The zipper closure keeps pets inside, while the built-in leash attaches to a harness to help prevent sudden jumping. The breathable mesh top improves airflow, and the light grey interior reflects heat instead of absorbing it like black fabric, helping reduce overheating on warm rides. The removable foam pad adds a soft layer between your pet and the basket.

• The pad helps soften small bumps and catch fur, dirt or accidents.
• Remove the foam pad for hand washing.
• For longer comfort, allow for some feed and keep rides reasonable to help avoid overheating or discomfort.

How does the KEMIMOTO basket attach to a bike?

The metal frame mounts to most standard rear racks with the included hardware, and no extra tools are needed. Hook-and-loop straps attach the pet basket to the frame for a stable fit. The metal frame helps the basket keep its shape and resist outside bumps.

• Fold the frame down or detach it for compact storage.
• When it is not carrying a pet, the basket can serve as a cargo basket.

This carrier suits owners of small pets who want to bring a calm companion on bike rides and have a rear rack for mounting. Its stated pet limit, mesh-covered top, removable hand-washable pad and foldable frame make it a practical fit for those needs; it is intended for small pets rather than larger animals.
