Kirecoo Large Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box, 5.9-Inch High Sides, Non-Stick Surface

Kirecoo is a large, open-top stainless steel cat litter box designed to give cats room to use the tray while helping contain scattered litter and high urination.

• 19.5 x 13.6 x 5.9 in (49.5 x 34.5 x 15.0 cm) — provides a spacious interior for cats to use and move around in.
• 5.9-inch (15.0 cm) sides — help contain litter and suit cats that kick litter or urinate high.
• Non-stick, smooth surface — helps litter fall away from the sides for easier scooping and cleaning.
• Stainless steel resists scratches and dents and does not absorb or retain odors — a reusable alternative to a plastic pan.
• Smooth rim and rounded edges — make the box easier to pick up and hold.
• Suitable for cats and other pets, including rabbits and ferrets — also serves as a pet bathing tub or metal storage container.

An open litter tray can suit cats that feel uneasy entering an enclosed box, as well as cats that prefer an open space. The generous interior and tall sides are designed for everyday litter use, with room for cats to shake excess litter off inside the tray.

Which cats is the Kirecoo litter box made for?

The Kirecoo large stainless steel cat litter box is suitable for medium cats, large adult cats, kittens, and households with multiple cats. Its open-top format gives cats access without requiring them to enter an enclosed space, while the roomy interior gives them space to finish their litter routine and move around.

The high sides help keep kicked litter within the tray and are particularly useful for cats that urinate high. The box also leaves room for a cat to shake off excess litter inside, helping keep loose litter contained.

• Open top for cats that prefer an uncovered litter area.
• Designed for cats prone to kicking litter or urinating high.

How does the steel surface make cleaning easier?

The Kirecoo stainless steel litter pan has a smooth, non-stick surface that helps litter waste slide down rather than cling to the sides. Waste can collect at the bottom, making scooping easier; the surface also dries fast after cleaning.

Unlike plastic, the stainless steel material does not absorb or retain stinky smells, and it resists scratches and dents during use. The smooth surface is comfortable to touch for both cats and people. An integrally smooth rim and rounded edges make the pan easier to pick up and hold, while also helping with scooping.

• The rounded edges are designed for comfortable handling.
• The box provides stability and strength when filled with heavy litter.

Can this box be used for pets other than cats?

Yes. The Kirecoo steel box can be used with rabbits, ferrets, snakes, and other pets, in addition to cats. Its uses also extend beyond a litter tray: it can serve as a pet bathing tub or a metal storage container.

This gives the open-top box more than one practical role around pet care and storage. For litter use, its tall sides help contain scatter; for other uses, the same open-top form allows easy access to the interior.

• Suitable for a variety of pet sizes and types.
• Can be used as a bathing tub or for metal storage.

This box is a good fit for cat owners who want an open, spacious litter tray with tall sides, as well as pet owners seeking a steel container for other uses. Its stainless steel construction, easy-to-scoop surface, and multi-purpose open design suit buyers looking for a litter box that can also serve beyond litter care.
