• Two hanging ropes — suitable for irregular or extra-thick iron railings.

Trimming a dog’s nails at home can be difficult when a pet resists having its paws handled. This suspended grooming sling is designed to help hold a dog during nail care, with neck support and restraint straps built into the setup. Kkiimatt recommends that two or more people work together when using the hammock.

What size dog does the Kkiimatt grooming hammock fit?

The XL hammock is intended for extra-large dogs weighing 56–80 lb (25.4–36.3 kg), with a front-to-rear leg distance of 12.6–22.44 in (32.0–57.0 cm). Compare your dog’s measurements with both ranges to choose a suitable fit. Kkiimatt offers grooming hammock sizes from XXS to XXL.

How does this hammock help with nail trimming?

The harness suspends and restrains the dog for grooming and nail clipping at home. Its multilayer neck support is designed to better match pressure on the neck while hoisted; Kkiimatt says this design helps dogs feel more comfortable and relaxed during grooming or clipping.

The wide strap restraints are an upgraded feature compared with Kkiimatt’s previous version. The brand says they can help prevent dogs from escaping more effectively than hammocks without restraint straps or with thin clip-on restraint buckles. Together, the support and restraints are intended to make it easier to hold a dog for nail care.

• Designed for grooming and nail clipping.
• Wide restraint straps are part of the updated 2024 gray edition.

The Kkiimatt XL hammock is suited to people trimming the nails of an extra-large dog at home, provided the dog’s weight and leg distance fall within the stated ranges. Its included clipper and file make the kit focused on nail care, while the hanging ropes accommodate irregular or extra-thick iron railings.
