KONG Hands-Free Bungee Dog Leash, 1.8 m Red Reflective Shock-Absorbing

KONG Reflective Shock Absorbing Hands-Free Bungee Dog Leash is a red, dual-use dog leash designed for walking with your hands free or using it as a traditional leash, with a 6' (1.83 m) bungee leash length.

• Reflective red leash — adds a reflective detail to your dog-walking setup.
• Strong thread — helps the leash resist chewing and tearing.
• Durable metal hardware — provides metal connection components.
• 6' (1.83 m) long x 1" (2.54 cm) wide — gives you the leash dimensions for choosing a suitable walking setup.
• Neoprene-lined, comfort-grip handles — provide lined surfaces to hold during walks.

For walks when you want to keep your hands free, a standard leash can limit what you can carry or do while moving. KONG’s leash offers two ways to wear or hold it, plus a bungee section designed to help when your dog starts pulling. Its additional traffic handle gives you a closer grip option when increased control is needed.

Can I wear this leash hands-free or use it as a regular leash?

Yes, KONG’s leash can be worn as a waist strap or held as a traditional leash. The waist strap can also be cinched for a temporary tie-out in dog-friendly public spaces, including cafes and restaurants. For closer handling, use the traffic handle when you need increased control.

• Switch between waist-worn and hand-held use to suit the walk.
• The cinched waist strap allows temporary tie-out use in dog-friendly public spaces.

How does the leash help when my dog pulls?

KONG’s leash includes shock-absorbing bungee cord to help when a dog starts pulling. The bungee section gives the leash a shock-absorbing feature; it does not replace the traffic handle, which is there for increased control when needed.

• Use the traffic handle when you want a closer grip.
• The leash can be held traditionally as well as worn around the waist.

What are the leash dimensions and handle details?

KONG’s leash measures 6' (1.83 m) long and 1" (2.54 cm) wide. It has neoprene-lined, comfort-grip handles, strong thread to help resist chewing and tearing, and durable metal hardware. The red leash is also reflective.

• Compare the 6' length and 1" width with the leash dimensions you prefer.
• The handles have neoprene lining; the leash also includes metal hardware.

This leash suits dog owners looking for hands-free waist-worn use alongside the option of a traditional leash, with a bungee section for pulling and a traffic handle for closer control. Its 6' length, 1" width, neoprene-lined handles, reflective red finish, and convertible wearing options define the walking setup it provides.
