KONG Max HD Padded Dog Collar, Medium Blue, Adjustable and Chew-Resistant

The KONG Max HD Ultra Durable Neoprene Padded Dog Collar is a chew-resistant, adjustable collar designed for a comfortable, padded fit; this blue Medium size fits necks measuring 14–20 in (35.6–50.8 cm).

• Neoprene interior padding — cushions the collar against your dog’s neck.
• Exceptionally strong thread — gives this collar the strongest thread construction in the KONG collar collection.
• Metal snap buckle and D-ring — provide a fastening point and a place to hold an ID tag.
• Adjustable design — lets you set the fit around your dog’s neck.
• Medium collar width of 1.25 in (3.2 cm) — gives this size its extra-wide profile.

For dogs that need a padded, adjustable collar with a place to hold an ID tag, the KONG Max HD combines a neoprene interior with heavy-duty metal hardware. Its sizing runs large and extra wide, so measuring your dog’s neck and allowing room for two fingers between the collar and neck helps you choose a suitable fit. This collar is not for tie-out use.

How do I choose the right KONG Max HD collar size?

The Medium fits a neck measuring 14–20 in (35.6–50.8 cm) and is 1.25 in (3.2 cm) wide. Measure around your dog’s neck and leave enough room to fit two fingers between the collar and neck. These collars run large and extra wide, so use the neck measurement rather than choosing by breed alone.

• Small: neck 10–14 in (25.4–35.6 cm); width 1 in (2.5 cm).
• Large: neck 18–26 in (45.7–66 cm); width 1.5 in (3.8 cm).
• XL: neck 20–28 in (50.8–71.1 cm); width 1.75 in (4.4 cm).

What makes the collar padded and durable?

A neoprene interior provides the padding, while exceptionally strong thread forms the collar’s construction. KONG identifies this thread as the strongest used in its collar collection. Heavy-duty metal hardware includes a snap buckle for fastening and a D-ring that can hold an ID tag.

• Blue colour.
• Adjustable collar design.

Can I use this collar for tie-outs?

No. The KONG Max HD collar is not intended for tie-out use. Its snap buckle fastens the collar around your dog’s neck, and the metal D-ring serves as an ID tag holder.

• Check the fit with two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck.
• Use the stated neck range to compare the Medium with your dog’s measurement.

This collar suits dog owners looking for a padded, adjustable collar with a wide Medium profile, strong thread construction and a metal ID tag ring. It is designed for collar wear, not tie-outs, and the Medium fits necks from 14–20 in (35.6–50.8 cm).
