Some walks include time to pause, sniff, and explore rather than moving at one pace throughout. The KONG Explore is designed for those outings, giving a dog room to wander while the handler can use the leash’s brake-and-lock mechanism. Its large size and 24-foot belt make the key fit and length easy to identify when choosing a walking leash.

How much room does the KONG Explore give a dog?

The belt extends 24 ft (7.32 m), giving a dog room to sniff and roam during a walk. It is color-coordinated and features reflective stitching, so the belt’s construction includes both a coordinated color detail and reflective elements.

• Made for walks that include sniffing and wandering.
• Reflective stitching runs along the belt.

How do the brake and lock controls work?

The leash uses an intuitive brake-and-lock mechanism, with buttons designed around natural walking motion and typical dog-walking behavior. This gives the handler brake and lock functions as part of the leash’s walking controls.

• Brake and lock functions are built into the leash.
• The controls are designed for common walking motions.
