Small dogs need a resting surface that fits their space and offers cushioning for everyday naps. This bed is made for use at home or during car and truck travel, and its two-sided design provides different fabric surfaces for changing seasons. The listed size and dog-weight limit help you judge whether it fits your pet and intended resting area.

How does the foam support a small dog?

The bed uses 3-inch (7.62 cm) high-density egg-crate foam to distribute a dog’s weight more evenly. It is designed to support bones and joints and encourage restful sleep, with puppies and older dogs among the pets it may suit.

• The egg-crate foam provides the bed’s cushioning layer.
• The design focuses on support during rest rather than a raised sleeping surface.

How does the waterproof sleeping surface work?

The sleeping area combines three fabric layers, including a TPU barrier between the plush outer surface and the inner knit lining. The barrier helps prevent liquid from penetrating to the foam, while the inner knit fabric adds a lining beneath the sleeping surface.

• The outer layer is deluxe plush fabric with a soft, skin-friendly feel.
• The middle layer is TPU, positioned to help keep the foam from getting wet.
• The inner layer is knit fabric.

Can you remove and wash the cover?

Yes. An L-shaped zipper lets you remove the cover, which is machine washable. Reinforced stitching and upgraded fabric are designed to hold up through repeated washes.

• Open the zipper to take off the outer cover for washing.
• Let the vacuum-packed bed inflate for about 24 hours before your dog uses it.

Which side should your dog use?

The bed has plush velvet on one side and Oxford fabric on the reverse. The plush side provides a warmer place to snuggle in cold weather, while the Oxford side is intended to feel cooler in summer and withstand daily wear.

• Compare the bed’s 23 x 17 in (58.42 x 43.18 cm) footprint with your crate or resting space.
• Its stated weight limit is 20 lb (9.07 kg).

This bed suits small dogs and owners looking for a crate pad, cage bed, dog pillow or travel resting pad with a removable washable cover. It is intended for dogs within the stated weight limit, and its compact dimensions make it a fit for smaller resting areas. For a small dog that benefits from a cushioned surface and a choice of two fabric sides, the KSIIA bed combines egg-crate foam, a waterproof layer and a removable cover in one pad.
