The Kuoser Dog Recovery Suit is a lightweight cotton-spandex garment designed to cover abdominal wounds after surgery while allowing dogs to move naturally.

• Abdominal wound coverage — helps shield the area from licking, biting, scratching and dirt.
• Breathable cotton-and-spandex blend — provides a soft, lightweight layer for post-surgery wear.
• Designed for natural movement — lets dogs eat, sleep, walk and go to the bathroom while wearing it.
• Spay, neuter and postpartum uses — suits several stages of care for female and male dogs.
• Purple, size L — one of six sizes available, from XS to 2XL.

After surgery, dogs may need protection for an abdominal wound without losing the ability to manage everyday activities. This recovery suit is made for post-operative wear, and its body coverage offers an alternative to relying on a traditional e-collar for wound protection. It is also intended for postpartum care, including use as a weaning suit.

How does the Kuoser Dog Recovery Suit protect a surgical area?

The suit covers wounds on the abdomen and is designed to help prevent licking, biting and scratching. Its coverage also helps keep dirt away from the wound; the stated purpose is to help avoid secondary infections and promote faster healing.

• Full abdominal coverage for the wound area.
• Made for fragile wounds after surgery.
• Suitable for post-operative wear in any season.

Can a dog eat, walk and use the bathroom while wearing it?

Yes. The design allows dogs to eat, sleep, walk and go to the bathroom while wearing the suit. Unlike a traditional e-collar, it provides wound coverage as a garment while allowing these everyday movements.

• Made to support natural movement during recovery.
• Can be used with diapers for male dogs as an option intended to help prevent urination.

Which dogs and care stages is this suit made for?

The Kuoser suit is designed for female dogs after spaying, male dogs after neutering, and female dogs needing postpartum care. It can also be used as a weaning suit.

• Six sizes are available, from XS through 2XL.
• Measure your dog for fit; if your dog falls between sizes, choose the larger size.
• This listing is for the purple size L suit.

The Kuoser Dog Recovery Suit is suited to caregivers looking for abdominal coverage for a dog after spay or neuter surgery, or for postpartum care, while allowing everyday movement. Its cotton-and-spandex fabric, wound coverage and range of six sizes define its fit for these recovery needs.
