Kurgo Baxter Dog Backpack Harness, Chili/Barn Red, Adjustable Pack with Padded Handle

The Kurgo Baxter Dog Backpack Harness is a lightweight dog pack for everyday outings and backpacking, with 8 adjustment points for a custom fit.

• Two size options cover dogs from 30–110 pounds — choose the model matched to your dog’s weight and pack capacity.
• Two side pockets provide room for trail and travel essentials, including food, treats, dog bags, first-aid supplies and travel bowls.
• An integrated harness with a rear leash ring lets you attach a lead directly to the pack.
• Padded spine support contours to your dog’s back and helps distribute the load across the two saddlebags.
• A padded handle offers extra control and assistance over obstacles, while reflective trim adds visibility in low light.

Give your dog a way to carry everyday supplies on walks or gear on longer outdoor trips. The Baxter is made for dog owners who want a pack and leash attachment in one, with storage for the practical items a dog may need away from home.

Which Baxter size fits my dog?

The Baxter size is for dogs weighing 30–85 pounds and has a 3.75 L pack capacity; Big Baxter is for dogs weighing 50–110 pounds and has a 7.5 L capacity. Use your dog’s weight to compare the two size ranges before choosing.

• Both sizes have eight adjustment points for fitting the pack to your dog.
• The pack comes in Barn Red, Coastal Blue or Black/Orange; this colorway is Chili/Barn Red.

What can my dog carry in the pack?

The two-sided design has a pair of storage pockets for dog travel essentials. Pack items such as food, treats, dog bags, first-aid supplies, toys and travel bowls for walks or hiking trips.

• The two saddlebags are supported by the padded spine panel.
• The rear D-ring can also serve as a bottle opener.

Can I attach a leash, and how does the handle help?

Yes. The rear-mounted leash ring provides a place to connect a lead, and the large padded handle gives you a handhold for added control or help over rocky obstacles and out of water. Reflective trim is incorporated for visibility in the dark.

• The harness and backpack are combined in one design.
• The pack is made to withstand rugged outdoor conditions.

The Kurgo Baxter Dog Backpack Harness suits owners taking dogs on everyday outings or backpacking trips who want their dog to carry supplies and have an integrated leash attachment.
