Kurgo Dog Base Layer Suit, Heather Black, Medium – Stretch Comfort and Harness Access

The Kurgo Stowe Base Layer is a flexible dog bodysuit for warmth in cold weather, with a dual back zipper for dressing and harness access.

• Wear it alone or beneath a dog jacket — one suit supports standalone use and winter layering.
• Polyester and spandex construction — gives the lightweight suit stretch for movement.
• Adjustable belly band — lets you snug the fit and provides calming pressure.
• Reflective side seams — help make your dog more visible in low-light conditions.
• Machine washable with a lifetime warranty — supports repeat use and is backed by Kurgo’s stated product guarantee.

Cold-weather walks, winter outings, and indoor lounging can all call for an extra layer that still allows a dog to move comfortably. The Stowe Base Layer is made for active dogs and cozy companions, and its full-body coverage also helps contain loose fur around furniture, in the car, or on guests’ clothes. This Heather Black, Medium suit is designed for use in different settings, from a snowy hike to time relaxing at home.

What is the Kurgo Stowe Base Layer designed for?

The Kurgo Stowe Base Layer is designed to add warmth while allowing mobility in chilly weather. Its soft interior is intended to feel close to the body, and the high collar covers the neck to shield it from cold drafts. The breathable, snug fit suits dogs that are active outdoors as well as dogs wearing a comfortable layer indoors. It can also be used during recovery from surgery or when managing excess shedding; it is a clothing layer, not a treatment.

• Full-body sleeves cover more of the coat than a simple neck or chest layer.
• The open belly design leaves room for bathroom breaks.
• The high collar adds coverage around the neck.

Can dogs wear it alone or under another jacket?

Yes. The Kurgo Stowe Base Layer works as a standalone suit or as a base beneath another dog jacket. Its lightweight stretch construction is made to support movement, so it can add a clothing layer without being limited to under-jacket use. For harness access, two zippers run down the back; open them to make dressing easier and reach the leash or harness underneath.

• Dual zippers are positioned along the back.
• Back access accommodates a leash or harness.
• Reflective seams are placed along the sides for low-light visibility.

What features help with fit and everyday wear?

The Kurgo Stowe Base Layer combines a close-fitting stretch suit with an adjustable belly band. Adjust the band to create a snug fit; it also provides calming pressure. The body coverage is intended to help keep shed fur off household furniture, car interiors, and other people’s clothing. These details make the suit relevant for both outdoor wear and indoor use, without changing its basic role as a dog clothing layer.

• Material: polyester and spandex.
• Colour: Heather Black.
• Size: Medium.

How should you care for the Stowe Base Layer?

The Kurgo Stowe Base Layer is machine washable, making routine cleaning part of its intended use. Kurgo backs its products with a lifetime warranty. The suit is designed for dogs who need a wearable layer for cold conditions, indoor comfort, or shedding management; its open-belly cut also keeps bathroom breaks practical while it is being worn.

• Care: machine washable.
• Warranty: lifetime warranty from Kurgo.

The Kurgo Stowe Base Layer is suited to dog owners looking for a flexible, full-body layer for chilly outings, indoor wear, or managing loose fur. It is a dog bodysuit rather than a standalone harness: its back zippers provide access for a leash or harness worn underneath.
