How does the Small size fit?

The Small is sized for a 16 in (40.6 cm) neck and an 18–28 in (45.7–71.1 cm) chest. Two sliding adjusters help customize the fit around your dog, and the athletic cut allows dogs to walk and run freely. Coverage along the back may vary, so use your dog’s neck and chest measurements as the sizing guide.

• Two sliding adjustment points let you refine the fit.
• The athletic fit is made for freedom of movement on walks and runs.

Can my dog wear a harness with the rain shell?

Yes, the horizontal leash opening lets you attach a leash while your dog wears a favorite harness. Two quick-release buckles make it easier to put the coat on and take it off. The collar can be flipped up for extra protection from the elements or folded down when preferred.

• The leash opening is horizontal.
• Reflective piping is positioned on the sides for nighttime visibility.

What is the coat made from, and how do I care for it?

The shell uses 100% ripstop polyester coated with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) for waterproof protection. Inside, a breathable mesh lining adds a layer against your dog. Hand wash the coat and let it air dry.

• Waterproof TPU coating over ripstop polyester.
• Breathable mesh lining.
• Hand wash; air dry.

The Kurgo Halifax Rain Shell suits dog owners looking for an adjustable rain coat for wet-weather walks, with a leash opening for harness use and reflective side details. Choose Small for a dog whose neck and chest measurements fall within its stated fit; back coverage may vary. Its waterproof coated shell, adjustable fit and quick-release buckles make it a practical choice for outdoor outings in rain or sleet.
