For routine animal handling, a lead needs to be straightforward to put on and suitable for different care environments. KVP Animal Control Leads are made for general leash purposes and are suited to use in kennels, veterinary practices, shelters, grooming facilities, and rescue settings. Their slip design avoids a clasp-based attachment, while the braided rope construction provides a practical format for everyday animal control.

How does the KVP slip lead go on?

The lead slips over the animal’s neck, so there are no clasps to fasten. This quick-slip format is intended to make putting the lead on simple when handling cats or dogs. The lead is described as super strong and designed to provide control through its slip-over-the-neck fit.

• Quick slip-on design for general animal handling.
• No clasps are involved in attaching the lead.
• Made for cats and dogs.

What is the KVP lead made from?

Each lead uses braided polyethylene, with an abrasion-resistant, non-abrasive texture. The two-tone blue-and-white finish is colorfast and will not absorb liquids, combining a recognizable appearance with material characteristics suited to general leash use. The material and finish are part of the lead itself; no additional material claims are made.

• Braided rope construction.
• Colorfast blue-and-white two-tone finish.
• Made in the USA.

Where are these animal control leads intended to be used?

KVP leads are intended for general leash purposes, including use in kennels, veterinary practices, shelters, grooming facilities, and rescues. The 12-pack format supplies multiple leads for settings where animal handling is part of the work. Each lead measures 5 ft (1.5 m), giving buyers a clear length to consider for their handling needs.

• Suitable for general animal control.
• Intended for professional animal-care environments as well as general leash use.

KVP Animal Control Leads suit cat and dog owners, groomers, veterinary teams, kennel staff, shelters, and rescue groups looking for a simple slip-over-the-neck leash format. Their 5 ft length, braided polyethylene construction, and clasp-free design make them a practical fit for general handling rather than a lead with a clasp attachment.
