LICKIMAT Fish-Shaped Cat Lick Mats, Turquoise & Green Slow Feeders for Enrichment

LICKIMAT Casper & Felix are fish-shaped cat slow-feeder lick mats designed to enrich feeding and help reduce boredom and anxiety, with low-profile ridges and a whisker-friendly surface.

• Fish-shaped Casper & Felix designs in turquoise and green — add an engaging surface to a cat’s meal.
• Low-profile ribs and ridges — encourage natural crouching and slow, food-picking behavior.
• Whisker-friendly surface — may encourage food interest in fussy cats.
• Textured licking surface — supports saliva production and helps promote cleaner teeth and fresher breath.
• No silicone; supervision required — the mat is not a chew toy.

LICKIMAT Casper & Felix turn food and treats into an activity rather than a quick meal. Food settles into the surface for cats to pick out, making feeding more engaging and extending the time spent eating. This format is made for enrichment at mealtimes and for serving treats, including when boredom or anxiety is a concern.

How does the mat make feeding more engaging?

The low-profile ribs and ridges hold food across the mat so cats can work at it by licking and picking. The surface is designed to let cats crouch naturally while they eat, echoing the food-seeking part of a meal and prolonging feeding. LICKIMAT says this enriched experience helps reduce anxiety, boredom and destructive behavior; results can vary by cat.

• Food embedded in the textured surface takes longer to eat than food served without this activity.
• The whisker-friendly design may help encourage food interest for fussy cats.

What foods and treats can I serve?

Serve food or spreadable treats on the mat, including yogurt, peanut butter, purées and spreads. Food settles into the texture, giving cats more time to lick it up and enjoy their treat. Choosing healthy treats can also support lower-calorie treat serving, while the longer licking activity extends the experience.

• Suitable examples include yogurt, peanut butter, purées and spreads.
• Use the textured surface to spread food for an enriched feeding session.

What should I know about licking, chewing and care?

Licking the textured surface generates saliva, which helps protect teeth and gums. The texture also scrapes food and odor-causing particles from the tongue, helping promote healthier teeth and gums and fresher breath. Supervise your cat whenever the mat is in use: it is not a chew toy, and LICKIMAT advises choosing its Tuff version for known chewers. LICKIMAT Tuff is very strong and 100% dishwasher safe.

• The Casper & Felix mats contain no silicone.
• Supervise your pet during use, especially if it chews on objects.

These fish-shaped lick mats suit cat owners looking to add a food-based activity to mealtimes or serve spreadable treats in a way that extends licking. They are intended for supervised feeding and enrichment, not chewing. Their ridged, whisker-friendly surface gives cats food to pick out at their own pace.
