Lixit Medium Bracket-Mount Retractable Dog Tie-Out, 4.6 m Cable

The Lixit Medium Retractable Dog Tie-Out is a bracket-mount cable system designed to give dogs room to move while the cable retracts into its housing, with a 15-foot cable and 360-degree rotation.

• 15-foot braided, coated steel cable — gives a dog room to move within the tie-out area.
• Automatic cable retraction — rolls the cable back into its housing to help prevent leash tangling.
• 360-degree rotating housing — lets the tie-out turn as the dog moves.
• Bracket mount — attaches to a secure surface such as a deck, post, house side or RV.
• Reflective sticker on the housing — helps owners see the reel and avoid tripping on it at night.

For dogs that need a defined outdoor tie-out area, this Lixit system combines a retracting cable with a fixed bracket mount. It is made for use at a secure mounting point, with the rotating reel and cable allowing movement around that point. The selected version is Medium, Pack of 1, with a bracket-mount configuration.

How does the Lixit tie-out help prevent leash tangling?

The cable automatically rolls back into the housing, helping keep excess cable from remaining loose as your dog moves. The housing also rotates through 360 degrees, turning with the movement of the tie-out rather than staying fixed in one direction.

• The cable is braided and coated steel.
• The reel and rotating housing form the retractable tie-out unit.

How much room does the tie-out provide?

The 15-foot (4.6 m) cable provides 706 square feet of roaming area. This gives a dog a defined area around the tie-out point while keeping the system connected to its mounted bracket.

• The cable length is 15 feet.
• The stated roaming area is 706 square feet.

Where can the bracket be mounted?

Mount the bracket to a secure surface, including a deck, post, side of a house or RV. Choose a secure mounting point that suits the intended tie-out location; the bracket is the mounting style for this version.

• Designed for attachment to a secure surface.
• The reflective sticker on the housing helps make the reel easier to notice at night.

What is included in this version?

This selection is the Medium, Pack of 1, Bracket version of the Lixit retractable dog tie-out. It is a bracket-mount tie-out with a retractable cable, rather than a stake-mount configuration.

• One medium bracket-mount tie-out.
• Made for dogs, with the cable and housing forming the retractable tie-out system.
