LIYAOLI Fish Tank Hideout Cave for Plecos, Shrimp & Corydoras, 3D-Printed

LIYAOLI Fish Tank Hideout Cave is a 3D-printed aquarium tunnel that gives small aquatic pets a sheltered place to hide, with openings for animals from 0.8 to 4 inches (2–10 cm).

• Multiple entrances and viewing holes — provide several ways in and out and views through the cave.
• Fits fish and shrimp from 0.8 to 4 inches (2–10 cm) — supports passage for many small to medium aquatic pets.
• Sinks immediately without pre-soaking — lets you place the cave straight into the aquarium.
• Freshwater and saltwater suitable — works across both aquarium types.
• Creates separate tank territories — offers territorial fish a place to retreat and may help reduce fighting.

Shy or territorial aquarium inhabitants can benefit from a sheltered space within the tank. LIYAOLI’s textured cave is designed as a hideout for plecos, shrimp and corydoras, as well as other small aquatic animals such as bettas and crystal shrimp. Its cave-like form adds visual depth to an aquascape and can sit alongside live plants and driftwood.

Which fish and shrimp can use the cave?

The tunnel openings accommodate fish and shrimp measuring 0.8 to 4 inches (2–10 cm). The cave is intended for small to medium-sized aquarium pets, including plecos, shrimp and corydoras; its hideout design also suits sensitive species such as bettas and crystal shrimp.

• Multiple entrances offer more than one route through the hideout.
• Wide openings are designed to allow safe passage without trapping animals within the cave.

How does the cave help in a shared aquarium?

It creates a sheltered area that can establish a separate territory within the tank. This gives territorial fish a place to retreat and may reduce fighting between them. The textured surface and openings visible from multiple angles also add detail and depth to the aquarium layout.

• Place it among live plants or driftwood to complement an aquascape.
• Its cave-and-tunnel shape provides a dedicated hiding place for shy aquatic dwellers.

Can I use it in freshwater or saltwater?

Yes, LIYAOLI’s aquarium cave is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It sinks immediately, so no pre-soaking is needed before placing it in the tank, and it is simple to clean.

• Ready to place in the aquarium without a pre-soak.
• Designed for use in either freshwater or saltwater setups.

LIYAOLI’s Fish Tank Hideout Cave is suited to aquarium keepers who want a ready-to-place shelter for small fish and shrimp, with an opening range for animals measuring 0.8 to 4 inches (2–10 cm). It is a cave hideout for small aquatic pets, rather than a shelter sized for animals outside that range.
