LoeJan Elevated Ceramic Cat Bowl, Black 148 ml 2-Pack, Raised and Tilted

LoeJan Elevated Cat Food Bowl is a raised, tilted 5 oz ceramic feeding bowl designed to support a more comfortable eating position for cats and small dogs, in a black two-pack.

• Raised feeding position — helps reduce neck strain while cats eat or drink.
• Angled bowl — guides food toward the center and helps keep it from being pushed out.
• Shallow, wide shape — gives whiskers room and makes access easier for flat-faced cats.
• Odorless, lead-free ceramic — offers a non-plastic option for serving food and water.
• Microwave- and dishwasher-safe — supports convenient heating and cleanup.

Eating from a low dish can mean a cat has to bend down to reach food or water. LoeJan’s raised, angled design is made to bring feeding into a more comfortable position and make food easier to reach. It is suited to everyday meals and drinks for kittens, flat-faced cats, older cats with arthritis or mobility limitations, and small dogs.

Can the raised bowl support a more comfortable feeding position?

Yes. The elevated design is intended to reduce neck strain by allowing cats to eat or drink in a more natural position. Raising the bowl also positions the cat’s mouth in relation to its stomach; the design may help with swallowing and occasional vomiting, but it does not guarantee a result or treat a medical condition. The bowl is also intended to help protect pets’ spines by reducing the need to bend down to reach a dish.

• Made for food or water.
• Suitable for older cats with arthritis or other mobility-limiting issues.

How does the tilted shape help cats reach their food?

The bowl is 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide, with an angle that helps food collect toward the center instead of being pushed off to the sides. Its shallow, wide profile is designed to keep whiskers from contacting the bowl while a cat eats, and to make access easier for flat-faced cats. Good to know: the stated width is the bowl’s width, so compare it with the space available where you plan to feed your pet.

• Designed for easier access to food in the bowl.
• The low, open profile accommodates a range of cat face shapes.

What are the bowls made of, and how do you care for them?

Each bowl is ceramic, an odorless, lead-free alternative to plastic. The bowls are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, so they can be used for microwave heating and cleaned in a dishwasher. Their firm ceramic surface can help prevent scratches, which may help reduce related health concerns.

• Two bowls are included.
• Black finish; 5 oz capacity per bowl.

This set is best suited to cat owners looking for raised, angled dishes for everyday food or water, especially for flat-faced cats or pets that benefit from less bending at mealtime. It also fits small dogs, with a 5 oz bowl capacity and a 5-inch width for choosing a suitable feeding space.
