After surgery, dogs may need a way to cover the body while reducing access to areas they might lick or scratch. The Lukovee recovery suit is made for post-surgery and neutering recovery, and can also be used during skin medication, weaning, or daily wear. Its design combines an easy-to-open back with room for toilet breaks, so the garment can stay on for those routines.

What is the Lukovee recovery suit designed to do?

It is designed to help prevent dogs from licking or scratching surgical wounds. Limiting access to the area can help reduce the chance of further injury during recovery; the suit is a covering, not a guarantee of a particular healing result.

• Suitable for post-surgery and neutering use.
• Also intended for skin medication, weaning, and daily wear.

How does the suit fasten, and can dogs use the restroom in it?

A zipper along the back makes the suit easier to put on and remove. Extra lining and a protective magic-tape panel help keep hair from catching in the zipper. Room at the rear allows toilet use without removing the garment or soiling it.

• The back magic-tape closures can be rolled up when needed.
• Male dogs have a customizable area; try the suit on and find the right position before cutting.

How do I choose the right size and adjust the fit?

Use your dog’s back length and chest girth to choose a size; weight recommendations are only a reference. If the back and chest measurements point to different sizes, choose the larger one. The 2XL size is the option named for this product.

• A wider waist belt and loop-fastener strap at the back adjust around the abdomen.
• Compare both back and chest measurements rather than relying on weight alone.

Made from 100% polyester, the fabric is breathable and stretchable, and is intended to provide a comfortable feel during recovery. The brand also positions the soft fabric as helping relieve stress and anxiety while a dog is healing. The adjustable waist helps create a closer fit around the abdomen, including around the area the suit is designed to cover.

This suit is suited to dog owners looking for a wearable covering for recovery, skin medication, weaning, or everyday use, with access for toilet breaks built into the design. For the best fit, select using back length and chest girth; this Lukovee 2XL suit pairs a back zipper with an adjustable waist and a restroom-friendly cut.
