After surgery or during skin care, a dog may need a garment that covers the body while allowing ordinary movement and bathroom breaks. This suit is made for female and male dogs, with rear access designed for toilet use and an adjustable fit around the abdomen. Its coverage can help discourage a dog from reaching a surgical wound to lick or scratch it.

How does the Lukovee recovery suit help protect a healing area?

The Lukovee Recovery Suit for Dogs helps limit licking and scratching at surgical wounds, which may lower the chance of wound-related illness or further injury. The rear magic-tape closures can be rolled up when needed, giving you a way to adjust the back opening during wear.

• Suitable for use after surgery or neutering, and when applying skin medication.
• The suit can also be used during weaning or as everyday wear.

Can my dog use the bathroom while wearing it?

Yes. The Lukovee Recovery Suit for Dogs has sufficient space at the back for bathroom use without taking the garment off. A customizable section is provided for male dogs. Try the suit on and find the right position before cutting this area.

• Rear access is designed to help keep the suit on for toilet breaks.
• Position the male opening while the suit is being worn before making any cut.

How do I choose the right size?

The Lukovee Recovery Suit for Dogs comes in eight sizes, and this option is size S. Measure your dog’s back length and chest girth to choose a fit; if those measurements fall into different sizes, choose the larger one. Recommended weight is a reference only.

• A wider waist belt and rear loop-fastening strap let you adjust the abdominal fit.
• Use back length and chest girth as your primary sizing measurements.

What makes the suit easier to wear during recovery?

The Lukovee Recovery Suit for Dogs uses a back zipper for putting on and taking off the garment. A lining and magic tape help prevent fur from getting caught in the zipper. The 100% polyester fabric is breathable and stretchable; its soft, cozy construction is designed to help relieve stress and anxiety during recovery.

• The zipper is positioned along the back.
• Fabric stretch and the adjustable waist belt support a close fit without relying on the recommended weight alone.

This suit is best suited to dog owners looking for body coverage during post-surgical care, neutering, skin medication, weaning, or daily use. It is intended for female and male dogs, with bathroom access built into the rear and a customizable opening for male dogs. Its fit is chosen by back length and chest girth, with the waist adjustment providing additional fit control.
