This window perch gives cats a raised place to rest while making use of glass window space. Its fold-up design is useful in apartments and rooms where window access matters, especially when you want to close blinds or curtains without removing the whole perch. The frame is made from polished Rubberwood, and the fabric hammock provides a soft place for a cat to lie down.

Will this window perch support a large cat?

Its reinforced solid wood frame and upgraded 85 mm tightening suction cups are designed to support up to 40 lb (18.1 kg). That capacity makes it suitable for a large cat, including a Maine Coon, or two cats resting together. The sizing is given as 23.7 in (60.2 cm) long by 14.4 in (36.6 cm) wide; the detailed size is also given as 23.6 in (59.9 cm) long by 14.4 in (36.6 cm) wide. Compare the listed length and width with the available window area before mounting.

• Three-dimensional frame construction is described as reinforced for a stable place to rest and play.
• The solid Rubberwood structure is designed to resist deformation and sagging over long-term use.
• The tightening suction cups create a vacuum seal against the glass.

What is the hammock surface made from?

The hammock uses two fabric layers: a lambswool top and an Oxford cloth mesh underside. The lambswool surface provides a soft, skin-friendly place to lie, while the breathable mesh bottom supports the hammock. Together, these layers are intended to make the resting surface warmer and more comfortable for your cat.

• The lambswool surface is described as having no odor.
• The Oxford cloth mesh forms the hammock’s underside.
• The plush cover attaches with Velcro and can be removed for cleaning.

Can I fold it up to close my curtains?

Yes. The hammock flips upward and folds flat to a 2.7 in (6.9 cm) profile, so the perch can stay mounted while you close blinds or curtains. This foldable format also frees window space when the resting surface is not in use, without requiring you to disassemble the perch each evening.

• Fold the hammock upward when you need the window area clear.
• The frame is made from polished solid Rubberwood rather than PVC pipes.
• The wood frame is designed to blend with home furnishings as a piece of wall furniture.

How do I mount and clean the cat perch?

Before installation, clean the glass and soak the suction cups in warm water for 3 minutes to prepare them for mounting. The plush cover can be detached at its Velcro fastening and machine washed, making it easier to refresh the fabric and remove accumulated cat hair.

• Mount the suction cups on a clean glass surface.
• Use warm water to soak the suction cups for 3 minutes before mounting.
• Remove the plush cover from the frame before machine washing it.

This perch suits cat owners looking for a window resting spot with a solid wood frame, a soft fabric hammock and a fold-up design for curtains or limited room. Its stated support capacity and large listed footprint make it a fit for large cats or two cats sharing the hammock, while the removable machine-washable cover supports regular cleaning. It combines a glass-mounted cat bed with a Rubberwood frame and a fold-flat hammock.
