Maev Chicken Formula is made for dog owners seeking a whole-food raw recipe with digestive support as part of their dog’s daily feeding routine. Its formula brings together chicken, produce and functional supplements, with weight management and digestion as its intended focus. The frozen format offers a straightforward serving option when you want to feed raw without first thawing the food.

How is Maev Chicken Formula designed to support digestion and weight management?

It is supplemented with chicory root and a targeted blend of probiotics to support healthy digestion, gut balance and regular bowel movements. The formula is also designed to support efficient nutrient absorption, making digestive support a central part of the recipe rather than an added serving step. Its weight-management focus is built into the formula; it is not a separate supplement to mix into another food.

• Functional ingredients: chicory root and probiotics.
• Digestive support includes gut balance and bowel regularity.
• Formulated for digestion and weight management.

What ingredients and nutrition does the chicken recipe provide?

Maev Chicken Formula uses human-grade, USDA-certified chicken alongside chicken liver and other nutrient-dense organ meats. The 11-ingredient recipe also includes whole fruits and vegetables, plus minerals and functional supplements. Developed by veterinary nutritionists, it is made as a complete and balanced raw diet, with high-protein nutrition from real, identifiable ingredients.

The recipe is intended to support more than digestion: its chicken, liver, produce and minerals are also selected to support skin and coat health and lean muscle. Maev makes the food without gluten, preservatives, fillers, by-products or artificial additives. That ingredient approach gives shoppers a clear picture of what the recipe is built around, while keeping the functional support within the food itself.

• Chicken and chicken liver are included in the recipe.
• Whole fruits, vegetables and minerals round out the ingredient mix.
• No gluten, preservatives, fillers, by-products or artificial additives.

How do you serve Maev’s frozen raw dog food?

Pour it straight from the freezer into your dog’s bowl; thawing is not required. If your dog prefers, you can thaw the food or warm it slightly before serving. Flash-freezing is used to lock in freshness and nutrients, and the ready-from-frozen option keeps preparation simple.

• Serve directly from frozen, or thaw or warm slightly to suit your dog’s preference.
• The food is raw and flash-frozen.

How is Maev Chicken Formula made and tested?

Maev prepares the recipe in a human-grade facility in the USA, held to the same safety standards as groceries for people. The finished food is independently tested for heavy metals, pesticides and other contaminants. It has received the Clean Label Project Purity Award, a product distinction connected to its purity testing.

For dog owners choosing a raw chicken recipe, these details make the production approach clear: human-grade facility preparation, independent contaminant testing and a formula developed with veterinary nutrition expertise. The recipe’s ingredient and testing details are relevant whether you are choosing food for digestive support or looking for a whole-food option for your dog.
