Markarbarka 27-Inch Cat Scratcher Bed Sofa, Thick Reversible Cardboard Lounge

Markarbarka’s horizontal cat scratcher bed and sofa is an indoor place to scratch, play, lounge and sleep, with a 27-inch (68.58 cm) width for two cats or one cat up to 20 lb (9.07 kg).

• 1.5x thicker BC Flute cardboard than regular scratch pads — gives cats a thicker scratching surface.
• Flipable scratching surface — offers another side to use and doubles its usage life.
• High-density hardened corrugated cardboard — resists flattening from daily scratching.
• Recyclable corrugated cardboard and freshly mixed cornstarch glue — made with non-toxic, odor-free materials.
• Curved arc armrests — double as headrests for cats resting their necks and heads.

Indoor cats need an outlet for scratching as well as a comfortable place to pause between play and rest. This sofa-shaped scratcher brings those activities together, while giving cats a dedicated surface that can help redirect clawing away from household furniture.

What can cats do on the Markarbarka scratcher bed?

Cats can scratch, stretch, play, nap and sleep on this horizontal cardboard sofa. Its broad lounging shape accommodates two cats or one large cat weighing up to 20 lb (9.07 kg), making it suitable for shared use in a multi-cat home or for a cat that likes room to stretch.

The scratch surface gives cats a designated place to work their natural urge to scratch. Placing that activity on the scratcher can divert claws from sofas, carpets and wood furniture, making the couch an alternative to a conventional cat scratching post.

• Made for indoor cats and everyday scratching, play and rest.
• The sofa-style surface combines a scratching area with space to lounge.
• Designed to redirect scratching away from common household furniture.

What is the scratching surface made from?

The scratcher uses high-density hardened corrugated cardboard with 1.5x thicker BC Flute material than regular cat scratch pads. Its denser, thicker construction is designed to resist flattening during daily scratching and outlast standard scratchers. When one face has been used, the surface is flipable, providing another side and doubling its usage life.

The cardboard is recyclable, and the glue is freshly mixed cornstarch glue. These materials are described as non-toxic and odor-free, and the scratcher is intended for kittens, adult cats and senior cats.

• Corrugated cardboard construction with BC Flute material.
• Flip the scratching surface to use its other side.
• Made with recyclable cardboard and cornstarch glue.

How does the sofa shape support lounging?

Curved arc armrests give cats a place to rest their heads and necks while they relax. The arms are designed to work as soft headrests, including when a cat settles down for a nap or rests in sunlight.

The couch has a classic wooden texture and chess pattern design, giving the cardboard scratcher a furniture-inspired look for living rooms, bedrooms and offices. Its form brings a resting spot and scratching surface into one item, rather than separating those activities between a bed and a scratch pad.

• Curved armrests serve as headrests during rest.
• Chess pattern and wooden texture design suit a range of home settings.
• Made for use by kittens, adult cats and senior cats.

Markarbarka’s scratcher bed is suited to indoor cats and households looking to provide a shared scratching and resting area, including homes with two cats or one cat up to 20 lb. It is a cardboard cat sofa for scratching, play and lounging, with a flipable surface and curved headrest-style arms.
