For walks and training, a leash needs to give the handler a useful amount of lead while remaining comfortable to hold when a dog pulls. Meruogkar pairs imported cowhide with a hand-woven braid and a rotating copper hook for everyday outings, running and training sessions. The brown leather and copper-tone hardware give the leash a straightforward, coordinated look.

What is the Meruogkar leather dog leash designed for?

It is made for dog walking, running and training, with a braided leather construction intended to soften the jolt of a sprint. The leather is described as soft to hold, and its woven design is intended to help prevent a burning sensation in the hand when a dog pulls hard. The six-foot length can also be folded to use as a shorter leash when you need to keep your dog closer.

• Hand-woven kink-style braid helps relieve impact from sudden movement.
• Foldable construction lets you shorten the lead by hand.

What size is the leash, and which dogs is it for?

The leash measures 6 ft long and 1 inch wide, and it is designed for large, medium and small dogs. That length supports common walking, running and training situations, while folding the leash gives you a shorter hold when you want your dog closer. The product has also been professionally tested for dogs of different sizes.

• Length: 6 ft (1.83 m).
• Width: 1 inch (2.54 cm).
• Dog-size suitability: large, medium and small dogs.

What are the leash and hook made from?

The leash is made from Italian imported cowhide, and the full solid copper hook rotates through 360 degrees. The hook is rated to withstand 800 lb of pulling force; this is a hook strength rating, not a recommended dog weight. Dog trainers recommend the leash, and the leather-and-copper pairing brings together the flexible lead and swivelling attachment point.

• Leather: Italian imported cowhide.
• Hardware: electroplated solid copper swivel hook.

This leash suits dog owners looking for a foldable leather lead for regular walks, running or training with a large, medium or small dog. Its six-foot length, hand-woven cowhide construction and rotating solid copper hook make it a practical choice for handlers who want a comfortable grip and the option to shorten the lead by folding it.
