• 400T polyester fabric — repels water and pet hair and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
• For pets weighing 5–15 lb (2.3–6.8 kg) — suits small to medium cats, as well as small dogs and other small pets.
• Locking zippers and an internal safety leash — help secure your pet while travelling.
• Breathable mesh window — lets your pet see outside and reduces anxiety.
• Folds flat, with a padded shoulder strap and reinforced handles — offers carrying options and compact storage.

Choosing a carrier means balancing room for your pet with a size that works for your journey. MIDOG is made for trips by air or car, with an expandable area for resting and features for carrying and securing your pet. Before choosing a size, measure your cat’s length as well as weight so you can assess the fit for your individual pet.

Which pets fit in the MIDOG carrier?

The carrier is designed for small to medium cats weighing 5–15 lb (2.3–6.8 kg); it can also be used for small dogs and other small pets. American Shorthairs, British Shorthairs, Siamese cats and Ragdoll kittens are examples of the intended fit range. Weight alone does not establish whether a pet will fit comfortably, so compare your cat’s length as well as its weight before buying.

• Intended cat weight range: 5–15 lb (2.3–6.8 kg).
• Measure your pet’s length and weight to help assess suitability.

How does the expandable section add room?

The carrier has a square-shaped expandable section that gives a travelling cat more space to stretch out and rest than a traditional fan-shaped design. The additional space is available when expanded, while the carrier is designed to fold flat for storage when not in use.

• Square expansion provides extra room without adding bulk when collapsed.
• The reinforced bottom panel provides structural support.

The outer fabric is 400T polyester, which repels water and pet hair. For routine cleaning, wipe the carrier with a damp cloth. Its reinforced bottom and reinforced stitching on the padded shoulder strap add specific support points for carrying and everyday travel use.

Can I use this carrier for flights and car trips?

MIDOG measures 17 x 11 x 11 in (43.18 x 27.94 x 27.94 cm) and fits under the seats of most major US domestic airlines in economy class. Under-seat space differs by airline and aircraft, so verify the carrier size requirements for your flight before travelling. For car journeys, the carrier secures to seat belts.

• Locking zippers and an internal safety leash help keep your pet secured inside.
• Sturdy handles and a padded shoulder strap give you two ways to carry it.
• The breathable mesh window allows your pet to see out and reduces anxiety.

MIDOG is suited to people travelling with a small or medium cat, a small dog or another small pet who want an expandable resting area, a choice of carrying options and a carrier that folds flat for storage. Its stated pet range and airline fit make it a practical option for eligible pets on car journeys and many US domestic economy flights, with airline-specific size rules to confirm before flying.
