Recovery collars are useful when a dog needs a barrier around wounds or stitches but still needs to get through everyday routines. This inflatable donut is made for post-surgery recovery and for situations involving rashes or other areas a dog may try to lick or bite. Its shape offers a softer approach than a hard cone, while the open-vision design is intended to let dogs move about without blocked sight.

How does the MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone help during recovery?

The inflated donut forms a gentle barrier that helps prevent a dog from reaching wounds, stitches, or rashes to lick or bite them. By limiting access to these areas, it is designed to support faster, undisturbed recovery. The open design keeps a dog’s vision unobstructed, so familiar activities such as eating, drinking, and play remain possible while wearing the collar.

• Made for recovery after surgery as well as areas affected by rashes.
• Allows dogs to navigate their home with their vision unobstructed.

How does it fit and feel on a dog?

The MIDOG collar is sized Medium+ and uses inner loops to connect with a dog’s everyday collar. Thread the regular collar through those loops, then use the adjustable buckle to set the fit. Its soft, breathable fabric is designed to be more comfortable than a hard cone and can also serve as a pillow while a dog rests.

• Uses the dog’s own everyday collar to help keep the recovery collar in place.
• Adjust the fit with the built-in buckle.

How do you clean and store the MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone?

The non-stick outer fabric repels pet hair and can be wiped clean. When the collar is not in use, deflate it; it deflates in seconds for compact storage, including when preparing for travel. These features make it practical to keep available at home or take along when needed.

• Wipe-clean fabric is designed to make routine surface cleaning simple.
• Deflates in seconds for compact storage and travel.

The MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone is suited to dog owners looking for a soft, adjustable recovery barrier for post-surgery care or areas a dog may lick or bite. Its Medium+ sizing, everyday-collar loops, and inflatable donut form define its fit and use; it is a recovery collar rather than a hard, vision-blocking cone.
