MLONDHSU Turtle Basking Platform, Extra Large with Non-Slip Ramp and Powerful Suction Cups

MLONDHSU Extra Large Turtle Basking Platform is a turtle tank basking dock for 50-, 75-, 90-, and 120-gallon aquariums.

• PVC and high-density mesh grid — creates the platform’s basking surface.
• Powerful suction cups — hold the dock against the tank.
• Textured, non-slip ramp — gives turtles a route up and down.
• Water-damage-resistant construction — supports use in an aquarium and is easy to clean.
• Tank inside width must exceed 15 inches (38.1 cm) — measure before choosing this platform.

Turtles need a way to leave the water and reach a basking area. This platform is made for aquarium setups where the tank is wide enough for the dock and its ramp, giving turtles a defined route between the water and the basking surface. Its fit restrictions are important: measuring the inside width helps you choose a platform that can fit your tank.

Which turtle tanks can this platform fit?

It is compatible with 50-, 75-, 90-, and 120-gallon tanks, provided the tank’s inside width is greater than 15 inches (38.1 cm). It does not fit 20-, 25-, or 29-gallon tanks, 40-gallon long tanks, or 55-gallon tanks. Measure the inside width rather than relying on the tank’s gallon capacity alone.

• Measure the tank’s interior width before purchase.
• Tank capacity alone does not confirm that the dock will fit.

How does a turtle climb onto the basking area?

The platform has a textured, non-slip ramp for turtles to walk up and down. Powerful suction cups secure the dock in place, helping it stay stable and wobble-free, including with active adult turtles. The ramp is intended to encourage a regular basking routine.

• The ramp provides the access route to the platform.
• The suction cups hold the dock against the tank.

How can you help a turtle adapt to the new platform?

Keep the water level at least halfway up the ramp, place a favorite treat such as dried shrimp on the platform, and switch on both the basking lamp and UVB light. These setup steps are intended to encourage a turtle to climb onto and become familiar with the new dock.

• Position the water at least halfway up the ramp.
• Use a favorite treat and turn on both lights during familiarization.

The PVC and high-density mesh grid construction resists water damage and is easy to clean, making the dock suited to regular aquarium use. It is best for turtle keepers with a compatible tank that meets the minimum inside-width requirement and who want a ramp-access basking area. It is not designed for the listed narrow tank sizes or for tanks with an inside width of 15 inches or less.
