Molteriqo Wide Martingale Leather Dog Collar, Green L, Full-Grain Cowhide

Molteriqo is a handmade, wide martingale leather dog collar for greyhounds and other sighthounds, crafted from one piece of 4.5 mm full-grain cowhide.

• Martingale design tightens gently when pulled — helps reduce the chance of an agile dog slipping free without choking.
• Wide shape distributes pressure — designed to protect slender necks and delicate throats.
• Lightweight solid brass buckle and D-ring — rust-resistant, with smooth edges.
• Green, size L, fits a 35–43 cm neck — a defined fit range for this option.
• Available in pink, brown, deep navy blue and green, in S, M and L — a choice of listed colours and sizes.
• Leather develops a vintage patina over time — its appearance changes with wear.

Regular collars can be easier for narrow-headed, agile hounds to slip out of. Molteriqo’s collar is made for sighthounds that need a wider neck fit and a design that responds when a dog pulls. Its features suit walks with greyhounds, whippets, salukis and other hounds, including nervous dogs that may try to back out of a collar.

How does the martingale design work?

When the dog pulls, the collar gently tightens to help prevent escape while avoiding choking. The broad shape spreads pressure across the neck rather than concentrating it in one narrow area. This construction is intended for the slender necks and delicate throats common to sighthounds.

• Designed for greyhounds, whippets, salukis and other sighthounds.
• Made to help reduce the risk of injury during pulling.

Which size and colour is this collar?

This listing is for the green size L collar, with a neck fit of 35–43 cm. Compare your dog’s neck measurement with that range when choosing this option. The collar range also comes in sizes S and M, as well as L, and in pink, brown and deep navy blue alongside green.

• Green L: 35–43 cm neck range.
• Other range sizes: S and M.
• Other range colours: pink, brown and deep navy blue.

What are the leather and hardware details?

The collar is handmade from full-grain cowhide formed from a single solid piece. Its leather is soft and smooth against the dog’s neck, while the solid brass buckle and D-ring provide the fastening and lead attachment points. The hardware is lightweight, rust-resistant and smooth-edged.

• Leather thickness: 4.5 mm.
• Hardware: solid brass buckle and D-ring.

Molteriqo’s wide martingale collar is suited to greyhound, whippet, saluki and other sighthound owners looking for a leather collar with an escape-reducing design. It is especially suited to slender-necked or agile dogs, with the green L option fitting a 35–43 cm neck.
