New Life Spectrum Algae Fish Food, Medium 300g, Sinking Pellets with Nine Algae

New Life Spectrum AlgaeMax Medium is a daily pellet food for herbivorous and omnivorous fish, with 2 mm pellets in a 300 g pack.

• Nine algae and seaweed species — adds variety beyond a single-ingredient pellet.
• For freshwater and saltwater fish — suits herbivores in either environment.
• Suitable for omnivorous fish too — works for fish with mixed diets.
• Sinking pellets — provide food that settles below the water’s surface.
• No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives — keeps those additives out of the formula.

Fish that eat plant-based foods can benefit from a varied daily diet rather than food based on just one ingredient. AlgaeMax Medium is made for herbivorous fish in freshwater and saltwater aquariums, and its formula is also suitable for omnivores. Its algae- and seaweed-based blend is intended to support everyday feeding while providing a range of ingredients in one pellet food.

What fish is AlgaeMax Medium made for?

It is made primarily for herbivorous fish, including fish kept in freshwater or saltwater environments. Omnivorous fish can eat it as well, making it an option for aquariums where the fish’s diet includes both plant and animal foods. The pellets are intended as a daily nutrient, not a single-ingredient algae food.

• Designed for daily feeding of herbivorous fish.
• Also suitable for omnivorous fish.

What is in the algae and seaweed blend?

The formula combines nine species of algae and seaweed, including red seaweed and spirulina. This varied blend is designed to support fish immunity and digestion and help maintain the vibrancy of their natural colors. The mix offers more ingredient variety than a pellet made from one ingredient alone.

• Includes red seaweed and spirulina among its algae and seaweed ingredients.
• Made without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

How do the pellets behave in an aquarium?

The pellets sink and are made to hold together in the aquarium rather than break apart. Their resistance to disintegration helps prevent the food from making the water cloudy or contributing to tank pollution. The 2 mm pellet size is the format provided in this medium product.

• Sinking format for fish that feed below the surface.
• Pellets are designed not to disintegrate in the tank.

New Life Spectrum AlgaeMax Medium is suited to aquarium keepers feeding herbivorous fish a varied daily food, as well as omnivorous fish that can eat the same blend. It combines nine algae and seaweed species in 2 mm sinking pellets, with a 300 g quantity for routine feeding.
