How does this dog life jacket support flotation?

The vest is designed to help dogs stay afloat and stable above the waterline. Its 4X foam is positioned on the sides, where the design allows dogs to move efficiently in and out of the water. The vest was tested in oceans, swimming pools and lakes using a test created to closely align with human life-jacket standards.

• No standard exists specifically for dog life jackets.
• The test approach was developed for this vest rather than relying on a dog-specific industry standard.

What size is this vest, and what helps it fit?

This listing is for size XS, marked for 11–15 in (27.9–38.1 cm). Heavy-duty adjustable belts and clips let you adjust the fit and remove the vest, while wide chest straps distribute pressure evenly. The design is available for dogs from puppies and small breeds through medium and large dogs; this product option is XS.

• Use the 11–15 in size marking when choosing this XS option.
• A leash loop and sturdy handle are built into the vest.

Can the vest be worn comfortably outside the water?

Breathable mesh is designed to support comfort both in and out of the water. In the water, it allows water to flow through to help prevent irritation to a dog’s skin and coat; out of the water, it allows air circulation to help sensitive-skinned dogs avoid overheating during outdoor activities.

• A reflective stripe is included as a visibility feature.
• The mesh supports airflow during outdoor wear.

This NOAH & PAW Dog Life Jacket suits dog owners looking for a flotation vest with adjustable fastening and built-in handling features for water outings. The XS option is marked 11–15 in, and the vest combines side foam, breathable mesh, a rescue handle and a leash loop.
