What is inside the orthopedic foam base?

The bed uses a three-layer foam design: a 4-inch 30D base, 1 inch of memory foam, and 1 inch of eggshell foam infused with cooling gel. The base measures 6 inches thick, not including the headrest, and the bed is described as human-grade.

• The memory foam and eggshell foam sit above the 30D base.
• The headrest is excluded from the stated base thickness.

How is this bed designed to support a dog?

NOAH & PAW says the bed is vet approved and designed to cradle bone structure and posture. Its stated purpose is to help relieve pressure and ease joint discomfort, with older dogs and larger breeds highlighted as especially suited to this support.

• The cooling gel is infused into the eggshell foam layer.

What size is the bed, and how do the covers work?

The bed measures 35 x 25 x 8.7 inches (89 x 64 x 22 cm) and comes with two removable, washable covers: one inner and one outer. The bed is water resistant; the cover information specifies that both covers are washable, without specifying a washing method.
