OCEANPAX Cat Scat Mat, 6.5 ft Soft-Spike Strip for Indoor and Outdoor Use

OCEANPAX Cat Scat Mat is a flexible plastic deterrent strip designed to discourage cats and small animals from walking, scratching or digging in unwanted areas, with soft rounded spikes across a 6.5 ft (1.98 m) mat measuring 78" (198.12 cm) x 11" (27.94 cm).

• Soft, rounded spikes — create a paw-level barrier without electric shocks or harsh chemicals.
• Long, wide strip — helps cover narrow ledges and other problem areas.
• Flexible plastic that can be cut, bent and joined — allows a custom fit around corners and curved surfaces.
• PP plastic designed for sun, rain and snow — supports use indoors and outdoors.
• Textured backing — helps the mat grip wood, tile, grass and concrete.
• Lifecycle carbon emissions measured, reduced and offset through ClimeCo Certified — gives the mat a documented emissions initiative.

When cats investigate a garden bed, countertop, railing or piece of furniture, a physical boundary can help keep paws away from the area. This mat is made for indoor and outdoor spots where a gentle deterrent is preferred over electric devices, loud noises or chemical sprays. Its flexible strip format lets you adapt the coverage to the space rather than relying on a fixed, rigid barrier.

How does the mat discourage cats?

Its rounded spikes make the surface uncomfortable under paws, gently discouraging cats and small animals from crossing, scratching or digging there. The design is intended to deter without hurting animals, and it works without electricity, loud sounds or chemical repellents. That makes it suited to homes where a simple physical barrier is useful around places animals should avoid.

• Use it to protect flower beds from digging.
• Place it where scratching or walking is unwanted.

Where can I use the OCEANPAX Cat Scat Mat?

Use the strip on indoor or outdoor surfaces including countertops, window sills, balcony railings, fence tops and garden borders. The textured underside is designed to help it stay in place on wood, tile, grass or concrete, making it useful across kitchens, living rooms, balconies and yards. For broader coverage, connect more than one mat to form a continuous barrier along beds, paths or ledges.

• Suitable spots include steps, plant pots and sofa areas.
• For extended barriers, overlap strips or tie them together.

Can I shape the mat to fit my space?

Yes. The flexible PP plastic can be trimmed with scissors, bent around corners or wrapped around curved surfaces. This lets you tailor the mat to a particular edge or shape instead of leaving excess material in place. Measure the area you want to cover before trimming, and use joined strips when one piece is not enough for the full length.

• Trim it for plant pots or steps.
• Bend it to follow corners and curves.

Is this mat suitable for outdoor conditions?

Yes. Its PP plastic is designed to withstand sun, rain and snow for indoor and outdoor use. The mat’s lifecycle carbon emissions have been measured, reduced and offset through ClimeCo Certified. This emissions work is a separate product attribute; the mat’s practical role remains a flexible physical deterrent for selected surfaces and boundaries.

• Designed for year-round outdoor exposure to sun, rain and snow.
• Use it on garden borders, yards and fence tops as well as indoor surfaces.

OCEANPAX Cat Scat Mat suits cat owners who want to discourage access to specific furniture, food-preparation areas, garden beds or ledges with a cut-to-fit physical barrier. Its soft spikes, flexible construction and indoor/outdoor design make it useful for narrow or irregular areas. It is a deterrent mat for placing on surfaces, rather than an electric or chemical repellent.
