Odorcide K.O.E. Kennel Odour Eliminator Concentrate, 473 ml Non-Enzymatic Formula

Odorcide Thornell K.O.E. is a 16 oz (473 mL) concentrated, non-enzymatic odor eliminator made to treat odor sources in kennels and other large areas.

• Concentrated formula with separate one-time and maintenance dilution ratios — mix it for the level of odor treatment needed.
• Designed to penetrate to the odor source — treat the cause rather than only the surface.
• For cages, runs, kennels, floors, tables, walls and other large areas — use it across pet-care and home environments.
• Non-enzymatic formula — it works regardless of which application has been used before.
• Non-toxic, non-allergenic and biodegradable formula — treated areas can be around pets and children immediately after use.

Pet odors can remain in the material or area where they began, making surface-only treatment insufficient. K.O.E. is made for odor treatment in homes, veterinary clinics, grooming businesses and kennels, including areas such as cages, runs and floors. Thornell is a top provider of pet odor eliminator products to the veterinary industry in North America. This concentrated product is supplied in a standard bottle, not a spray bottle, and is mixed with water or cleaning solution before use.

How do you dilute and apply K.O.E.?

For one-time odor elimination, mix 4–8 oz (118–237 mL) per gallon (3.8 L) of water or cleaning solution; for maintenance odor elimination, mix 1/4–1/2 oz (7–15 mL) per gallon. Apply enough diluted K.O.E. to heavily saturate the affected area so it can reach the full odor source, then let the area air dry. A pump-up sprayer may be used for application.

• Use the stronger one-time dilution for odor treatment and the lower maintenance dilution for ongoing use.
• If odor remains, the source may not have been fully reached or a stronger dilution may be needed.

What areas can this kennel odor eliminator treat?

K.O.E. is designed for large areas and surfaces including cages, runs, kennels, floors, tables and walls. Its source-penetrating approach is intended to reach odor beneath the immediate surface, rather than only treating surface odor.

• Suitable settings include homes, clinics, grooming businesses and kennels.
• The formula is stated to be safe for use on any surface.

How does the formula differ from an enzyme cleaner or odor masker?

K.O.E. uses a non-enzymatic formula that is not an odor mask, and it works regardless of what application was used previously. The formula is designed to reach the odor source; when the source is reached, the product is designed to remove offensive odors immediately and permanently in the first application.

• Its odor-eliminating action does not depend on a previous treatment method.
• The formula is non-toxic, non-allergenic and biodegradable.
• Pets and children can be around treated areas immediately after use.

K.O.E. is suited to pet owners and animal-care teams treating odors across kennels, cages, runs and other large areas, with a dilution ratio for one-time treatment and another for maintenance. It is a concentrated liquid for mixing and application, not a ready-to-use spray bottle. Its non-enzymatic formula and source-focused application make it a fit for buyers treating odor at its source.
