Skunk odor can affect an animal as well as the places it has contacted. Odorcide Skunk Off is made for treating pets and a range of affected areas, including home textiles and vehicle interiors. Thornell is the No. 1 provider of deskunk shampoo products to the veterinary industry in North America, making this an option for people seeking the type of product used in veterinary settings.

How does Odorcide Skunk Off address skunk odor?

It is designed to remove skunk scent in the first application by reaching the source of the odor rather than treating only the surface. The formula is non-enzymatic and does not mask the scent; it can be used regardless of what application was tried before.

• Made for skunk odor on dogs and other pets.
• Targets the odor source rather than relying on a surface treatment.

How do you use it on pets and affected areas?

For a pet, saturate the entire affected area with shampoo, giving special attention to the spot that received the direct hit, then rinse thoroughly and towel dry the animal. For cars, carpets, crawl spaces, decking and similar areas, apply the shampoo with a pump-up sprayer.

• For clothing, upholstery and bedding, use the shampoo in the laundry.
• Follow the pet-use sequence of saturating, rinsing thoroughly and towel drying.

Can it be used around family and on different surfaces?

Pets and children can be around areas treated with Odorcide Skunk Off immediately after use. The product is intended for use on pets and a variety of surfaces, including carpets, cars, clothing, upholstery and bedding; Thornell products are safe for use on any surface.

• Surface applications include carpet, vehicle areas, crawl spaces and decking.
• A pump-up sprayer is the stated application method for larger areas.

Odorcide Skunk Off suits pet owners who need to treat skunk odor on an animal and clean affected household or vehicle areas with the same product. Its one-gallon size, pet-use directions and options for sprayer or laundry application make it suited to cleanup involving more than the animal alone.
