Omega One Veggie Rounds Fish Food, 14 mm Sinking Rounds, 227 g Kelp Formula

Omega One Veggie Rounds are sinking fish food rounds made with hand-harvested Alaskan ocean kelp, sized at 14 mm (0.55 in) and packed in an 8 oz (227 g) container.

• 14 mm sinking rounds — provide a defined-size food that sinks in the aquarium.
• Fresh ocean kelp hand harvested in Alaska — brings a marine plant ingredient to fish feeding.
• Omega 3 and 6 HUFA — included to support strong immune systems.
• Spirulina — included for its stated role in eliminating internal bacteria and pathogens.
• Naturally insoluble with significantly less starch — designed to reduce water pollution and fish waste.

These rounds are made for fish feeding routines where a sinking food and a kelp-based recipe are useful. Their formula combines ocean kelp with Spirulina and avoids several types of pre-processed protein. Feed according to what your fish can consume, then remove any remaining rounds after four hours.

What ingredients and protein sources are in Omega One Veggie Rounds?

The recipe features fresh ocean kelp hand harvested in Alaska and contains Spirulina, a cyanobacterium. Omega 3 and 6 HUFA are included to support strong immune systems; the Spirulina is included for its role in eliminating internal bacteria and pathogens. The formula contains no meals, hydrolysates, digests, or other pre-processed protein.

• Kelp is the featured marine plant ingredient.
• Spirulina is part of the recipe alongside the kelp.

How do the rounds affect aquarium water and fish waste?

Omega One Veggie Rounds are naturally insoluble, a feature intended to reduce water pollution. The recipe also has significantly less starch, which is intended to reduce fish waste. The rounds sink, so they are suited to feeding routines that use sinking food.

• Feed 1–2 rounds daily, or offer as much as the fish can eat within four hours.
• Remove uneaten food after four hours and reduce the amount at the next feeding.

What is the guaranteed nutritional analysis?

The guaranteed analysis sets minimum crude protein at 35% and minimum crude fat at 10%. Maximum levels are 4% crude fiber, 8.5% moisture, and 9% ash. These figures provide the stated nutrient ranges for the food.
