For grooming appointments, vet visits, training, and other situations where a muzzle is needed, fit and airflow both matter. This basket design leaves room for everyday breathing, panting, and drinking while offering a barrier that can help reduce biting and unwanted chewing or scavenging. Careful measuring is essential because a comfortable fit depends on both snout length and circumference.

How do I choose the right muzzle size?

Measure your dog and compare all three measurements with the sizing chart in the product photos or description. Measure snout length from the nose tip to the slope below the eyes; measure snout circumference around the widest part of the snout, with the mouth closed and just below the eyes; measure neck circumference behind the ears. The chart uses inches. If the circumference matches a size but the snout length is beyond that size’s maximum, choose the next size up.

• Size options range from 1 to 10; this listing is Size 3.
• Check length as well as circumference before selecting a size.

Can my dog pant and drink while wearing it?

Yes. The ergonomic basket design is made to let a dog breathe freely, pant, and drink while wearing the muzzle. It is intended to offer a breathable, comfortable experience without irritating the dog, while helping protect both people and dogs in appropriate situations.

• Suitable uses include training, safety, veterinary visits, and grooming.
• The design is made for dogs of all ages.

Which dogs is this basket muzzle designed for?

The muzzle is designed for long-snouted dogs whose measurements fit the chart. It is not intended for short-snouted breeds such as bulldogs and pugs, so compare your dog’s snout length with the chart before choosing a size. The flexible polyethylene construction is designed in Italy and made to handle extreme temperature changes without breaking.

• Black finish.
• Flexible basket construction.

This adjustable muzzle is suited to owners who need a breathable barrier for a chart-fitting, long-snouted dog during training, grooming, or veterinary care. Its Size 3 fit should be selected by comparing your dog’s snout length, snout circumference, and neck circumference with the sizing chart.
