What is the OmniPet basket muzzle designed to help with?

The OmniPet Leather Brothers Italian Basket Dog Muzzle is made for training and safety, including situations where helping to prevent biting, chewing or scavenging is important. Its basket design allows a dog to breathe freely, pant and drink while wearing it. The product is also intended for use during grooming and veterinary care, helping create a barrier without restricting those functions.

• Adjustable design for a secure fit.
• Suitable for grooming, vet visits and training situations.

How do I choose the right size for my dog?

Measure your dog’s snout length, snout circumference and neck circumference, then compare all three with the sizing chart; chart measurements are in inches. Measure snout length from the nose tip to the slope below the eyes. Measure around the widest part of the closed snout just below the eyes, and around the neck directly behind the ears. If the circumference fits a size but snout length is beyond that size’s maximum, choose the next size. Size 9 is one of the available options.

• Confirm both length and circumference against the chart.
• Short-snouted breeds, including bulldogs and pugs, are not suited to this design.
• For long-snouted dogs, the snout length must fall within the selected size’s range.

What is the basket made from, and where can it be used?

The muzzle is made from flexible polyethylene and is designed in Italy. The material is non-toxic and odorless, and the basket is designed to withstand extreme temperature changes without breaking, making it suitable for use in varied weather conditions.

• Flexible polyethylene construction.
• Available in sizes 1 through 10.

This tan Size 9 muzzle suits dog owners who need a basket-style option for training, grooming, veterinary visits or safety management, provided the dog’s measurements match the size chart. It combines an adjustable fit with a design that allows breathing, panting and drinking.
