ondware 4-Pack M8 Cat Scratching Post Replacements, 15.75-Inch Natural Sisal

ondware 4-pack replacement cat scratching posts are made to replace worn sections on cat furniture, with each sisal post measuring 15.75 in (40 cm) long and 2.75 in (7 cm) in diameter.

• Natural sisal wrapped around a thickened cardboard tube — gives indoor cats a dedicated surface for scratching.
• Hand-wound sisal rope — a tightly wrapped surface designed for grip and abrasion resistance.
• Installation hardware included — four M8 screws and four M8 bolts are supplied with the posts.
• Replacement sections for cat furniture — change worn posts without replacing the entire scratching structure.
• Made for indoor cats — provides a familiar spot to scratch, climb, and stretch.

When a scratching post starts to fray, replacing the worn section can keep a cat’s familiar scratching area in use. These ondware posts are intended for home setups such as cat condos, towers, and loungers, and can help maintain a designated place for everyday scratching rather than leaving furniture as the only available target.

Will these replacement posts fit my cat furniture?

They are designed for cat furniture that uses M8-specification screw fittings. The set includes four M8 screws measuring 1.38 in (3.5 cm) and four M8 bolts measuring 2.36 in (6 cm). Check that your existing furniture uses M8 fittings before choosing these replacement posts.

• Suitable for cat condos, towers, and loungers with compatible screw fittings.
• Hardware is supplied for installing the replacement posts.

How do I replace a worn scratching post?

Remove the old post, position its replacement, and tighten the fitting securely. The posts are designed for a straightforward swap at home, so you can replace a worn section while keeping the rest of the scratching structure in use.

• Remove the worn section before fitting the replacement.
• Tighten the post securely after installation.

What is the scratching surface made from?

Each post uses natural sisal rope wrapped around a thickened cardboard tube. The rope is wound by hand to create a tight covering, providing a defined surface for a cat’s scratching routine.

• The sisal wrapping is designed to provide grip.
• The wrapped surface is made for abrasion from scratching.

Why replace a post instead of the whole scratching structure?

Replacing worn sections helps extend the usable life of the larger scratching post or cat furniture. Keeping the scratching area available can help preserve its usefulness and appeal for a cat, while giving indoor cats a place to scratch, climb, and stretch.

• Replace worn sections rather than the entire post structure.
• Keep a replacement set ready for areas where the scratching post gets frequent use.

These replacement posts suit indoor-cat households with compatible M8-fitted furniture and a worn scratching section to change. They offer a sisal-covered replacement sized for cat condos, towers, and loungers, with the installation hardware supplied in the set.
