OraVet Dental Chews for Large Dogs Over 22.7 kg, 30 Count, Daily Plaque & Tartar Care

OraVet Dental Chews are daily oral-care chews for large dogs over 50 lb (23 kg), with delmopinol to help protect teeth and a 30-count pouch for a month of daily use.

• Delmopinol coats teeth with a protective barrier — helps defend against bacteria linked to plaque, tartar, and bad breath.
• Chewing action loosens and dislodges plaque — supports the removal of buildup from teeth.
• Clinically shown to reduce plaque and tartar — promotes better oral health through a daily chew.
• One chew each day; 30 chews per pouch — provides a month of dental home care when used daily.
• Low-calorie formula — designed not to negatively affect body weight or eating habits.

OraVet Dental Chews are made for a simple daily oral-care routine at home. They use the dog’s natural chewing action alongside delmopinol, an ingredient used in human oral rinses, to address plaque buildup, tartar, and bad breath. The chews are intended to complement regular veterinary dental checkups.

How do OraVet Dental Chews support dental hygiene?

Each chew works through two approaches: chewing helps loosen plaque, while delmopinol coats the teeth to form a barrier against bacteria involved in plaque, tartar, and bad breath. The chews are clinically shown to reduce plaque and tartar buildup and promote oral health. OraVet identifies them as the #1 dental chew veterinarians give their own dogs, with supporting data on file at Boehringer Ingelheim.

• Delmopinol is also used in human oral-care rinses.
• Clinical evidence includes more than three dozen human and animal clinical trials.

How many chews should a dog have?

Give one chew daily as part of your dog’s home dental-care routine. The chews are described as tasty and highly dissolvable, making them suitable for regular use alongside veterinary dental checkups. A 30-chew pouch covers 30 days when one chew is given each day.

• Use one chew per day.
• Keep regular veterinary dental checkups as part of oral care.

Which dogs are these chews made for?

This pouch is the Large Dogs, Over 50 lbs. option. OraVet also states that its dental chews are made for dogs and puppies at least six months old and weighing 3.5 lb (1.6 kg) or more. Compare your dog’s age and weight with those limits when choosing this chew.

• Suitable from six months of age.
• Minimum stated weight: 3.5 lb (1.6 kg).
