Oroonoko Carpet Protector for Pets, Clear 8.4 ft PVC Mat, Trimmable Non-Slip Surface

Oroonoko Carpet Protector for Pets is a clear PVC mat designed to guard carpet from pet damage, with 0.06 in (1.5 mm) thickness and an 8.4 ft (2.56 m) length.

• Durable, recyclable PVC — creates a barrier against cat scratches and everyday wear.
• 100.4 L x 12.2 W in (255 L x 31 W cm) — covers a doorway or other selected area.
• Non-slip ribbed surface and anti-movement backing — supports foot traction and helps the mat stay in place.
• Trimmable, customizable material — shape it for different coverage needs, including single- or double-sided flaps.
• Clear mat for carpets, furniture, thresholds and DIY uses — adapts to more than doorway protection.

Pets can scratch carpet and bring mud across thresholds, while jumping pets may affect nearby furniture. This clear protector is made for doorway coverage and other household areas where you want a physical barrier. Measure the space before choosing it, then trim the material to suit the area.

What does the Oroonoko Carpet Protector help protect?

It is designed to protect carpet from cat scratches and daily wear, and can also be used as a shield against pet jumps on a sofa. The PVC mat can serve as a counter barrier to deter cats or as a mud-blocking floor runner in shoe-free homes. Its clear finish lets the protected surface remain visible.

• Use it on carpet, furniture or thresholds.
• Repurpose it for a Halloween maze sensory wall or a creative DIY project.

How do I choose the right size for a doorway?

The Oroonoko mat measures 100.4 inches long by 12.2 inches wide, with an overall length also given as 8.4 feet. Measure your doorway width before purchasing and compare it with the mat’s width to plan coverage. The expanded width can be trimmed to fit the shape you need.

• Cut the material to a desired shape.
• Create single- or double-sided flaps for customized coverage.

How does the mat stay in place, and how do I prepare it?

A ribbed, non-slip upper surface provides foot traction, while the backing is designed to resist movement. The Oroonoko Carpet Protector arrives rolled; use the included instructions to flatten it properly before installation.

• Allow for the rolled shape when preparing the mat for placement.
• Follow the included flattening instructions before installing it.

This protector suits pet owners who want a trimmable barrier for carpet, thresholds, furniture or other listed household uses. It is particularly useful when doorway coverage or a custom-shaped protective layer is needed; its 12.2-inch width is the key measurement to compare with the space.
