Oroonoko Cat Scratch Couch Protector, Dark Grey Left-Handed 27.6 x 19.6 in Sisal Mat

Oroonoko’s left-handed cat scratch couch protector is a dark grey natural sisal and thick-fabric mat designed to shield a sofa or chair side while giving cats a place to scratch; it measures 27.6 × 19.6 in (70.1 × 49.8 cm).

• Natural sisal scratching surface — gives cats a designated area to scratch while helping protect furniture.
• 27.6 × 19.6 in (70.1 × 49.8 cm) mat — covers a large section of a suitable sofa or chair side.
• Fits armrests up to 12 in (30.5 cm) thick — makes the fit requirements clear before installation.
• Velcro straps and leg ties — secure the protector to compatible furniture.
• Dark grey, left-handed design with a storage pocket — coordinates with grey sofas and keeps small items close by.

Cat claws can leave marks on upholstered furniture, while cats need a suitable surface for scratching. This protector is made for people who want to cover a sofa or chair side and offer their cat a sisal scratching area in the same spot. Its dark grey colour is intended to blend with grey sofas, and its pocket adds a place to keep everyday items near the seat.

Will this cat scratch protector fit my sofa?

It fits only furniture with a side area large enough for the mat and an armrest no thicker than 12 in (30.5 cm). Before choosing it, measure the side of your sofa or chair and confirm that the protector can be secured with leg ties. It is made for certain couch and chair shapes rather than every sofa.

• Side area required: at least 27.6 × 19.6 in (70.1 × 49.8 cm).
• Armrest thickness limit: 12 in (30.5 cm).

How does it attach, and which side is it for?

The protector fastens with Velcro straps and ties around a furniture leg. This version is left-handed: determine the left and right sides while sitting on the sofa, not while facing it. The leg strap is about 39.4 in (100.1 cm) long.

• Designed for placement on compatible sofas, couches, and chairs.
• Position the mat on the furniture side it is intended to cover.

What does the mat offer cats and sofa owners?

The scratching surface is natural sisal, backed with thick fabric. Sisal provides resistance for scratching, while the mat creates a designated place for cats to sharpen their claws and helps shield furniture from claw marks. The material is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and long-lasting.

• A built-in pocket holds small daily items such as a remote, book, or cellphone.
• The dark grey colour is intended to coordinate especially well with grey sofas.

This protector suits cat owners with a sofa or chair that meets its side-area, armrest, and attachment requirements, especially those seeking a dedicated sisal scratch surface alongside furniture protection. Its left-handed layout, leg ties, Velcro straps, and storage pocket make it a furniture-side solution rather than a universal cover.
