Oroonoko Cat Scratch Sofa Protector, Brown Right-Handed Sisal Cover for Couch Arms

The brown, right-handed Oroonoko Cat Scratch Furniture Protector is a natural sisal cover designed to give cats a place to scratch while helping shield a sofa arm and side, with a 23.6 x 19.7 in (59.9 x 50 cm) minimum coverage area.

• Natural sisal fabric — gives cats a dedicated surface for scratching and claw sharpening.
• Overall size: 55 x 43.4 in (139.7 x 110.2 cm) — covers the sofa arm and adjacent side area.
• Right-handed design — fits the right side as determined while sitting on the sofa.
• Secures with leg ties — suits sofas that allow the protector to be tied in place.
• Flexible, quick-to-place design — makes it convenient to set up on compatible furniture.

Cat claws can mark upholstered furniture during everyday scratching. This protector adds a sisal scratching surface to a sofa while helping keep its covered areas away from claws. Measure the sofa before choosing it: a secure fit depends on the arm shape, side area, cushion access, and ability to use leg ties.

How does the protector help with cat scratching?

The sisal surface gives cats a place to scratch and sharpen their claws while the cover helps protect the sofa beneath it. Its natural sisal fabric provides resistance during scratching, and the flexible design is made for practical placement on a sofa or compatible furniture.

• Made with natural sisal fabric.
• Brown color blends with surrounding decor.

Which sofa arms can it fit?

It is made for a sofa with a side area of at least 23.6 in long by 19.7 in wide (59.9 x 50 cm), an armrest no wider than 12 in (30.5 cm), and a structure that can be secured with leg ties. Flat, square arms provide a more stable fit; measure the arm and side area before choosing.

• Does not fit wing-arm sofas, extra-thick arms, or wooden-arm sofas.
• Sofa cushions must be liftable, and the sofa must allow use of leg ties.
• Fit is not universal across all furniture.

How do you place the right-handed cover?

Place it over the sofa arm and side, then secure it where the sofa allows leg ties. “Right-handed” refers to the right side when you are sitting on the couch, not the side you see when facing it.

• Quick to install and easy to place.
• Flat or square arm shapes help the cover sit more steadily.

What material is the scratching surface made from?

The scratching mat is made from natural sisal fabric, which the product identifies as non-toxic and eco-friendly. The material is also described as long-lasting, and its resistance provides a satisfying surface for a cat’s scratching session.

• Flexible construction for convenient use.
• Designed to protect furniture while cats scratch.

This cover suits cat owners seeking a sofa-arm scratching surface and furniture protection, provided their sofa meets the shape, size, cushion, and leg-tie requirements. It is intended for compatible sofas and couches rather than every furniture style, and its right-handed orientation is for the sofa’s right side when seated.
