Oster Professional A5 Turbo Animal Grooming Clipper, 2-Speed 45 W Motor

Oster Professional A5 Turbo 2 Speed Clipper is a heavy-duty animal grooming clipper for dogs, cats, horses and livestock, with a 45 W motor and compatibility with Oster A5 detachable blades.

• Two speeds of 3,000 and 4,000 strokes per minute — choose a pace for precision work or faster clipping.
• Wider blade sweep — moves through thick, coarse and heavily matted hair.
• Quiet universal motor — supports a more pleasant grooming experience.
• Low and high speed settings — use lower speed for sensitive areas and higher speed for faster trims or full-body shave downs.
• Includes a detachable #10 CryogenX blade, blade oil, clipper grease, cleaning brush and replacement carbon brushes — the main clipper-care items come together.

For grooming at home, in a professional setting or around livestock, the clipper is made to handle both detailed work and larger coat areas. Its two-speed operation lets you select a slower setting for sensitive areas or a faster setting for trimming and full-body clipping.

Can it groom thick or matted coats?

Yes. The wider blade sweep and heavy-duty universal motor are designed to move through thick, coarse hair, including heavily matted hair. The clipper is suitable for dogs, cats, horses and livestock, so it can serve a range of animal grooming needs.

• Clipper dimensions: 1.9 in H x 2.1 in W x 8.2 in L (4.8 x 5.3 x 20.8 cm).
• Weight: 1.7 lb (0.77 kg).

What do the two speed settings do?

The lower speed runs at 3,000 SPM for precision work and quieter clipping, while the higher speed reaches 4,000 SPM for faster trims and full-body shave downs. The motor is designed for quiet operation, making the lower setting useful when clipping sensitive areas.

• Power: 45 W.
• Cord length: 12 ft (3.7 m).

Which blades fit, and what comes with the clipper?

The detachable blade system works with all Oster A5 detachable blades, and this set includes a #10 CryogenX blade. The blade detaches for blade changes, and the included care items cover oiling, greasing and cleaning.

• Included maintenance items: blade oil, clipper grease and a cleaning brush.
• Replacement carbon brushes are also included.

This clipper suits groomers and animal owners who need one tool for dogs, cats, horses or livestock, including thick or matted coats and detail work on sensitive areas. Its two speeds, broad blade sweep and Oster A5 blade compatibility support both precision clipping and faster coat removal.
