Swimming, boating, paddle boarding and beach play all involve time in the water, where dogs can tire even when they are strong swimmers. This vest is made for pool, lake, beach and boat outings, giving dogs with different swimming abilities flotation support while allowing natural movement. It is a flotation aid for a conscious dog in calm water; keep your dog supervised whenever the vest is in use.

How does the Granby Splash support a dog in the water?

The vest combines foam flotation with a front float that helps support your dog’s head and neck above the water. Its design supports dogs without restricting their natural movement, making it suitable for water activities with dogs at different swimming skill levels. The vest is intended as flotation support, not as a reason to leave a dog unattended.

• Use for swimming, boating, paddle boarding or play at a pool, lake or beach.
• Keep use to calm water and a conscious dog.

How do I choose the XL size and get a secure fit?

Choose XL for a dog with a 33–44 in (83.8–111.8 cm) girth. Adjustable straps and quick-release buckles make the vest easier to put on and take off, and let you adjust its fit. Measure your dog’s girth and use the size chart and fitting video for guidance before choosing this size.

• XL is the extra-large size.
• The adjustable straps and buckles are designed to help the vest stay in place.
• The fit is designed to support movement rather than restrict it.

What features help with visibility and emergency assistance?

Bright yellow fabric and reflective accents help make your dog easier to see in different water settings, including in low light. A sturdy handle on top lets you lift and assist your dog in an emergency; use the handle for emergency lifting only. Ripstop material, thick foam padding and reinforced stitching make up the vest’s construction.

• Reflective details add visibility in and around the water.
• Do not leave your dog unattended while wearing the vest.
• This product is intended for dog use only, and your pet’s safety remains your responsibility.

The Outward Hound Granby Splash is suited to extra-large dogs who join their people for supervised water activities and need flotation support while retaining natural movement. For a conscious dog in calm water, its adjustable XL fit, head-and-neck support and emergency-assistance handle bring the key functions together in one vest.
